Hopedale Builders was so wonderful to work with! The back office was always very responsive and on top of communications and contracts, and our project manager couldn't have been friendlier. He was always jumping through hoops to accomodate our questions, requests and meeting times. Additionally, their estimated completion time was dead on for the original scope of work. From start to finish, the project took 2 weeks longer than anticipated, all of which were a direct and well communicated result of change orders we made and approved. We have recommended them several times since we started the project and will continue to do so now that we are finished.

Hopedale was a great partner from the very beginning. Brett helped set realistic expectations for a 1980s studio we had in our backyard that we were considering renovating. He recommended a full demo and new build, to eliminate surprises and deliver a space that would meet even more of our needs - home office, guest house and exterior entertaining. Jake was a terrific project manager and an incredible advocate for the highest quality work from the subcontractors. As a former commercial GC, it was not lost on me how good Hopedale's subcontractors were. It's a very good reflection of a GC when your subcontractors take ownership in a project as well. Our experience with Hopedale far surpassed a recent bathroom renovation project with another local GC, and there's no doubt that we'll use them again for future renovation projects in our historic home.

Hopedale was wonderful to work with on our whole home renovation, including an exterior facelift, opening up some of our first floor and adding square footage to the second floor. Jake (our PM) was absolutely fantastic, very patient and diligent on every single detail. The whole Hopedale team was truly great to our family and we're very grateful to have found them for our renovation.

We hired Hopedale to remodel our kitchen and convert an addition to a mudroom with a powder room. We can’t recommend them highly enough. We had issues with both our designer and cabinet company (not affiliated with Hopedale) but Hopedale stepped up to ensure our project was completed to their high standards. We couldn’t have asked for more from our PM Jake, whose attention to detail and communication is unmatched. From protecting other areas of the house to the quality of workmanship, it’s obvious how much pride Brent, Jake, Kyra and team take in their work. We look forward to working with Hopedale on future projects.

We recently wrapped up our extensive renovation and used Hopedale Builders for both Phases - we are so happy with the results: - Phase I: Removed single story breakfast room on back of house, replaced with two story structure. First Floor: New breakfast room; expanded den; new bonus space for office / playroom; added covered porch on back patio. Second Floor: New primary suite; moved laundry from basement to second floor; new full bath for upstairs guest rooms - Phase II: First floor: Repurposed bonus space / office playroom into new kitchen; moved half bath; added mud room and full wet bar; paneled front dining room and entrance foyer upstairs Brett’s team was great and we enjoyed working with them again. Very professional and always delivered, exceeding expectations. We are so happy with the results and are very fortunate to have Hopedale guide us through two major projects.

Hopedale Builders has now completed two separate home renovations for us, and we're likely to hire them again for a third. First was a "facelift" for the front exterior of our house around 2015. The second job was a recent total redo of two bathrooms. All results were beautiful! Office staff and on-site project managers are highly-skilled, hardworking, responsive, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. Even our neighbors noticed what thoughtful care on-site staff took to clean up nightly, to make the required porta john as discreet as possible, to protect the interior of our home by building temporary stairs out front and using floor protectors, and to consistently send polite, friendly, experienced subcontractors. Our project manager Kris kept the project moving along at an amazing pace to finish BEFORE the estimated completion date! He provided status updates daily and had enough home-building experience himself to complete all of the carpentry work himself. He did a better job installing our new bathroom cabinets than a cabinet company did years before in our kitchen. All concerns we brought up were addressed. Any unexpected changes that arose along the way were made right, and we were always treated fairly. We can't say enough good about Hopedale Builders, and we highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Brett and crew were amazing. They were easy to talk to. We loved the Buildertrend app. If we ever need another project done, we'll be calling Hopedale again.

I couldn't recommend Hopedale more highly. The final product (primary bathroom and closet remodel) is excellent, and the process was smooth, clear, ahead of time and on budget. The Hopedale team has incredible attention to detail, and we felt like we were in excellent hands throughout the process. Danielle drew plans and suggested finishes and design elements that are beautiful and feel like us, while the rest of the team made us feel like we were the only job they had. Truly great service and we couldn't be happier with the result.

Hopedale added to our porch to create an outdoor sitting, dining and grill area. The project also encompassed a small drop area from the kitchen onto the porch. All work and communication were ver professional, communication was good and conducted with as little disruption as possible. We would definitely work with Hopedale again.

We hired Hopedale to complete a full renovation of our house. Large project scope (at least for us!). Would highly recommend Hopedale to anyone looking to do something similar. They completed our project on-time and on-budget. Quality of work is excellent. Made sure all the punch-list items at end of the project got resolved. Brett Taylor is the consummate professional. He knows what he’s doing. Clear communicator. Kyra is super well organized and kept on us to make necessary decisions (so much of a project delay is actually the owners fault for not making timely selections!). Stephen and Jake were excellent on the job site.

I can't say enough good things about Hopedale. From the project quote to project completion, all the staff at Hopedale are extremely professional, knowledgeable, responsive/communicative, proactive with any issues or changes to scope and overall just good at what they do. Kyra managed every detail without a miss and our project managers Stephen and Jake felt like part of our family. We will definitely use Hopedale for our next home project!

We have used Hopedale for 3 different projects--small, medium and large. Each time we have had our expectations met and exceeded. They are very professional, organized, honest and deliver what they promise. They have excellent sub-contractors. We are delighted with all of the improvements we have made to our house and would not hesitate to use them again if we come up with any more projects!
