Thank you so much for the meeting today. I am newly appreciative of how little I know and how much I need the guidance of the wisdom of people who are experts. Just listening to the various conversations about how even seemingly small things (like surveying for example) come out of different buckets and how careful you have to be to categorize everything correctly to maximize your insurance proceeds was highly illuminating. I suspect I will be eating healthy portions of humble pie throughout this process. My heart is full of gratitude for your willingness to help me. It’s astonishingly helpful to work with someone who’s been through it and understands.

The team at Houck - especially Superintendent Kelly Nogy and Project Manager Tiana Greer - are top notch. We had a very important bathroom remodel we needed done quickly and well, and they were fantastic - professional, highly skilled, responsible, and outstanding to work with. We couldn’t recommend them more and will use them for all construction projects in the future.

My husband and I just moved into our first house, which just celebrated its 100th birthday! We absolutely love our place, but we knew it would need a lot of renovations, so we hired Houck to take on the job. The company and our project manager Eric Reiter have been phenomenal. Eric is genuinely interested in getting to know us, and is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He has assembled a fantastic team of sub-contractors who are getting things done in a timely but thorough manner under his leadership. When we ended up having to move in two months early due to renovations at our former condo, Eric didn’t panic - he pivoted and went to work! Since we moved in, he has solved multiple emergencies, like getting a locksmith to come out immediately when a doorknob fell off a door and we got locked out. He is truly the best. We cannot recommend Houck and Eric enough for all your construction needs!

Houk construction completely remodeled my home and did all the design. It was an incredible experience and the the work and design were flawless.

I reside in West Los Angeles and recently needed to change the entire A/C systems. An A/C contractor was hired and the job started. In the midst of the process we discovered a need for a rather simple but crucial concrete pad to be installed in the backyard to secure the condensers on. Several contractors came and disappeared. Others did not show up for the appointment. I knew David Houck from other occasions. In a stressful moment and while the A/C work was still going on, called Houck Construction, Inc., spoke with the COO (Gene) who made arrangement to see me on the same day. I visited the company, was received with warm hospitality, discussed the subject matter with the COO and his foreman(Kelly). Both true professionals. The foreman visited me in my house the next morning, plans were made, estimate provided, contract signed, deposit paid and work scheduled. They showed up on-time on the day of appointment, worked diligently, meticulously, professionally and effectively. The job was finished on-time, the crew left behind a cleaned scene, to my utmost satisfaction and forged the way for the completion of the A/C project. I plan on contracting Houck Constructions for my other projects and would wholeheartedly recommend them for anything that pertains to construction and upgrades.
