My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Jennifer Hyman is the best! She captured my vision for our vintage bathroom re-modelling job and created it better then I could have. She has a great energetic spirit - and made several suggestions that ended up enlarging the bathroom. She oversaw the work on the bathroom with great diplomacy and aplomb. Not just that, she if fun. My husband, our contractor and I all enjoyed working with her. If she will have us we will definitely engage her for another project. Her design suggestions were perfect.

Jennifer helped me coordinate furniture and colors in my new home. I tend to like everything and she helped me focus and choose a cohesive style and the color palette. As a result my home turned out beautiful and my husband and I feel comfortable and happy in it. She uses showrooms and artisans in Chicago. Her work was completed on time and on budget.

This was an exciting project to work on because it was completely done over the internet. Cheryl lives in Carmel, IN and was building a new home and selling her old home at the same time. She and I worked closely together using email and text messages to coordinate the furnishings, finishes, and accessories from several showrooms in the Merchandise Mart. It was very exciting to see a project of this scale come together using technology!

Ms. Hyman is very good to work with. Her ideas and her willingness to listen to our needs and then making them become a reality is great. She has a great color sense and visual sense as well which helped to transform our kitchen from a black and grey "hole" in to a bright and airy warm place to cook. Went from a grey laminate to a patterned Birch wood with Black granite counter tops and hidden strip lighting to brighten the space. A new stove with hood surrounded by white subway tile and glass. At night it was a dark space now it is bright and easy to work in.

I loved working on this project because every aspect of it was design in the truest sense. We exercised creativity and ingenuity in regards to materials and technology. It was especially satisfying to see the custom cabinet doors being crafted and learning how the glass maker, or is it a glass-smith, is using the kitchen tile to craft matching switch plates. I can't wait to see them in the space!
Every inch of the kitchen is custom and special. I love it!
