We are thrilled with our new heirloom-quality table, which we designed to be the gathering spot in our newly remodeled kitchen. Working with Ian to select what kind of wood (we ended up choosing walnut), style and shape (living edge), material and style of legs (steel), was all super easy to do over the internet. And he helped us make decisions that helped us stay within our budget. I'm proud to be able to say it is handmade and that it's made of reclaimed wood. The grain is spectacular and looks different from different angles and at different times of the day. In the months we've had it now in our home, we have had numerous compliments from friends all asking where it came from. It truly is a usable work of art.

Ian Grant created a most wonderful coffee table for me made out of part of root of a redwood. It's massive and gorgeous! Each time I look at it I find a new hue, curve or interesting character in it. I will never get bored with it! It was a logistical challenge to get it from the workshop to my garage on a pallet and then another challenge to find the right movers to get it into the house in one piece. It must weigh over 400 lbs! Ian even came to the house to help us decide how to best get it in the house. He was immensely helpful on top of being a great woodworker!

Ian is a true craftsman. He made me a beautiful elm live edge dining table. It is a true one of a kind piece.
