Inside Out - Design & Build

David and his team were wonderful to work with. We had followed their Instagram profile for awhile and really liked their modern, clean design aesthetic and quality craftmanship that they bring to their projects. They designed and built a new tile patio and hot tub pergola for us over the summer (2022) which truly transformed our backyard - it's beautiful! We will definitely work with them again when we redo our front yard and further additions to our backyard. David's planning process (including 3D models) and his team's attention to detail throughout the construction phase made it a worthwhile investment.

David and his crew renovated my landscaping and built a patio. They did an excellent job and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing landscape work. David was great to work with, provided a fair quote and stuck to it, showed up as agreed, found a cost effective and interesting solution to my needs, and cleaned up after the work was done. Dave built a platform around our hot tub and a side gate. From start to finish it was a really great job and easy for me. We went away and left Dave to it and came back to perfection.

We have just had David from Inside Out replace our old concrete patio with a beautiful hardwood deck and we couldn’t be happier. David is reliable, professional and his workmanship is of an extremely high standard. We were unsure of how big to have the deck, David was very helpful in helping us to decide, providing 3D designs of our space (incorporating future landscaping ideas we have for our garden) and researching the ideal deck size for the type of entertaining we do. David is a very diligent and skilled carpenter - who specializes in exterior patio features using exotic hardwoods such as Ipe, Tigerwood, Mukulungu and Red Balau (Batu). Working with these types of wood requires a certain skill level and an attention to detail that is not commonplace amongst Contractors - and for that reason alone he represents a valuable resource to clients considering these species of lumber for their deck or patio.
