About Us

Inside Out Kitchens is a full service design center that provides interior and exterior design services. We specialize in kitchen and bathroom millwork drawings, outdoor kitchen drawings, as well as supplying cabinets, countertops, flooring, backsplash, sinks, faucets and much more. Our goal is to create beautiful, functional livings spaces in the Okanagan region. Our process starts with one of our experienced designers meeting you in your home to learn about your vision. We will learn about your lifestyle consider your needs and put together a design plan created specifically for you. Our designers will be working alongside you to create your dream space, or help you discover it. Your visions is important to us from the start of the project to the end. Our kitchen, laundry, & bathroom renovation project showcases the excellence in workmanship & design by Paula Murray at Inside Out Kitchens & Michael Johnston Construction in Penticton, BC. Custom modern features (white flat faced & channel cabinetry extending to the ceiling, swingout/pullout storage, knife & utensil bins, quartz peninsula, tubular exhaust fan, built in appliances) transformed our 70’s harvest gold kitchen into a space that is minimalist in design, has a comfortable timeless feel but yet so practical & user friendly. The whole design flows seamlessly with the rest of our mid century modern home. We could not be happier with the finished project.

We loved working with Paula at Inside Out Kitchens. She took the time to understand our needs and our lifestyle in order to bring our vision to life. After our initial meeting, she quickly sent us a first draft for our kitchen design. After back and forth discussions, she was able to finalize the design to help us meet a very tight deadline. Throughout the whole process, we appreciated how responsive she was to emails, texts and phone calls. We love our new kitchen, it’s exactly what we were looking for! Anita and the Inside Out team have been amazing working with us on our kitchen reno. They were patient when we were deciding on a kitchen company and ultimately we chose them based on price and design, and we felt good about their flexibility when we changed our minds or had thoughts to add. We developed a great relationship over the months (and they were very thorough and attentive to shipping delays etc due to our current environment). We love the kitchen and have already recommended them several times and will continue to do so without reservation! Our house reno was quite major and it was great to work with them, where they had your best interests at heart, always!
