The design aspects of the project were absolutely terrific. We had a small bathroom that we wanted to expand (by taking out a closet), and needed to build in space for clothes (given the missing closet). We took their recommendation for a contractor and he was terrific as well. The process was collaborative, overall. If we had a minor complaint, it was that there some charges we felt were unncessary (and unnecessarily high). That said, we are very pleased with the final product!

The scope of our home remodel project included a total remodel (re-do) of our ground floor living area, including kitchen & breakfast area (re-purposed to a dining area), dining room (repurposed to a lounge, coffee, wet bar) , living room, master bathroom, his/her master closet, and upstairs bathroom. The scope included substantial layout/wall modifications (e.g. we completed reconfigured our kitchen to include an island), refinished wood floors, added new tile floors & plumbing & lighting fixtures (inc. showers) in the bathrooms, all new paint, all new cabinets & appliances, all new lighting, replaced an old fireplace with a modern fireplace, and added all new furnishings & floor coverings. We also choose to update our master bedroom (new paint, rug, bedding), and powder room bathroom (new wall paper, lighted mirror, plumbing fixtures) as added scope. Needless to say -- a major job. We worked with the Interiology staff for over an year to complete the design, make selections, plan the work, etc. We used a general contractor recommended by Interiology, and the general contractor employed several sub-contractors for plumbing, electrical, tiling, flooring, etc. It took about 7 months to complete about 98% of the work (as expected), and then another 1-2 months to finish the remaining 2% (not expected). All in all, our objectives were met and we are happy with the results. We would recommend Interiology to others.

Interiology Design is a very unique company as they really strived to understand my wishes, my taste , and my space. Mark and Louie got it all to perfection! We gave them a shell - a totally gutted empty space and they turned it into a home- From lighting to bath fixtures and everything in between. Since I don’t enjoy shopping for furniture or furnishings they presented me with options based on my preferences and their vision. It made for a much less stressful situation! Mark and Louie are very professional and respectful and have a great sense of humor- they were so much fun to deal with. They were responsive and communicated quickly to my calls or emails. Most importantly they are so very TALENTED!They created a space that suits us - comfortable with flair and wimsy here and there - they showed me how to step out of the box ! We hired Interiology to do a full kitchen renovation in our home. We chose them because we felt that they would challenge us to think outside the box and design a high-end kitchen that would elevate the sophistication and value of our home. They delivered on both of those things, and we really love the result. In the initial phase, they suggested several possible layouts that we had not thought of. When picking all of the finishes and details, they guided us to what design elements would work best together, while still allowing us to make the final decisions to make it our own. When an unexpected support beam was discovered during demo, they created a solution that now feels like it was part of the plan all along. Interiology was great about considering all of the details that make our kitchen both elegant and highly functional.

Our engagement with Mark and the Interiology team was the result of surveying several firms. We knew we needed a creative partner who would both listen to our thoughts and also gently push us away from mistakes – a balance of marrying our wishes with their expertise. Mark and Louie came to our home for our exploratory conversation; they grounded themselves in our starting point, helped us to see what was possible, and set our expectations on process and cost. Straight-shooters from Day 1. Through our process, we found the team to be consistent with our first impressions. They create options, manage the process and navigate curve balls (including from their clients!). We struggled with some decisions – they were patient and iterative. We were thoughtful on budget – they helped us to cost engineer. It is worth reiterating other reviewers in acknowledging the value of Mark’s partners in this process. We were connected with the best, which enabled the challenging process of a home remodel to be as painless as possible. Consistent with the Interiology style, the partners were experts in their field as well as thoughtful about our experience through the process. This is so important when you turn your home over to them! We are grateful to Mark and team for helping us to make our house a home!

We engaged with Mark Haddad of Interiology Design Company on the recommendation of a friend who has worked with Mark for several home projects. In our very first meeting, we could see his mind working as he was visualizing what ended up being a complete renovation of our dated and run down 40 year old kitchen. He saw potential where we saw a bunch of dingy cabinets, old counters and tired appliances that were well past their prime. The process started with a creative redesign of the large (500 square foot) but poorly laid out area. Mark and team switched the room layout entirely, making room for more cabinets and storage, a huge island, accessory working areas for beverage and grill prep and an inviting eating alcove - without moving a single wall. He created more light with a huge bay window despite using more walls for cabinets. We continued through the process one step at a time - picking cabinets, counters, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and so on. Mark understood that we like understated designs, nothing “over the top.” He helped us design a kitchen with an interesting color palette using three different cabinet finishes, two different paint colors and a bold fabric on our kitchen chairs. The end result is a classy kitchen that is not only functionally fantastic, but quite refined. Mark's superpower is the team he works with. The contractors and tradesmen work alongside him as a seamless machine. Mark has a longstanding relationship with them and they communicate constantly. We spent a lot of time up front in the design process making selections, but once construction commenced, we mostly watched as Mark's vision came together. Working with Interiology is an investment. They are not inexpensive. However, you get what you pay for. We've worked with a number of teams on bathrooms and other complex projects on the house, and this is the first time we can say it was a positive and successful experience.

We just enjoyed working with Mark on our third home renovation project. This time, Mark and Louie helped us redesign and modernize our kitchen and mudroom area, which completes an almost total transformation of our home's first floor (in the past, they helped us decorate our living and dining room and remodel multiple bathrooms in our house). We always choose them because of their fantastic sense of style and ability to provide a vision and complete the project. Mark, Louie and the whole Interiology team are a pleasure to work with, and we always trust their advice and recommendations. We would happily recommend them to anyone seeking innovative designers who can enhance and improve any space in your home.

Mark and the team did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel! Although we had a rough idea of what we were looking for, Mark guided us to a final design that provides an beautiful yet functional space for cooking, socializing, and entertaining. With plenty of counter space and storage, our 12yo makes pasta from scratch with plenty of space for yes rest of us to mix cocktails and work on other courses. We are living our best lives in this kitchen!

We engaged the Interiology Design Co. to develop and oversee renovations to the principal bedroom, ensuite bathroom, laundry room and home office of our 1930s era colonial home in Newton, MA. The design staff, under the direction of the company's president, Mark Haddad, thoroughly explored architectural possibilities for each room with us and most thoughtfully incorporated our input whenever possible. The breadth of experience of the staff was very impressive as was their knowledge of both current and traditional architectural styles appropriate to a home of our age. The staff were always available to answer questions and to revise architectural drawings until we were all in agreement. Mr. Haddad worked closely with us in selection of all materials (floor and wall tiles, bathroom fixtures, wood panneling, paint and wallpaper designs and colors, etc.). His expertise was highly appreciated. Interiology recommended selection of an extraordinarily competent General Contractor and sub-contractors whom the company had used for decades and who performed admirably in every phase of the renovation work. Interiology's services were not inexpensive, but the results were extraordinary and of the highest quality. We look back with great admiration for Mr. Haddad's achievements on our projects. We would strongly recommend Interiology for similar home renovation projects and would certainly engage its services should the need arise in the future.

We have worked with Mark Haddad and his team since 2015 on multiple projects including a new master bathroom and the redesign of our house’s front door portico. Our most recent project was a major kitchen renovation and accompanying guest bathroom remodel. We have always been extremely pleased with the results. They have an excellent grasp of finishes and design details, and will push us to consider options outside of our “comfort zone” while at the same time always considering our general tastes. They are incredibly organized and responsive, and have a great relationship with our builder who we have used on all of the projects noted above. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and would highly recommend working with them.

I had a dream….and it came true! In October of 2022 we had the idea to renovate our master bath and bedroom while we were away in Florida for the winter. I contacted Interiology Design (Mark Haddad) who helped us move into our new condo 12 years earlier. Mark and his team took on the challenge. They developed multiple design ideas for our Mid Century bathroom. In short order Mark confirmed a contractor who would commit to finishing on time. They helped us choose fixtures and features that worked with our style and timing. By the time we left in mid January all decisions were made. And voila! A beautiful bathroom and bedroom were finished by April 15th. We could not be happier with the work of the Interiology team and their extended team of professionals. Susan Connolly

We just finished building a new house. Interiology was involved from conception. IDC worked as part of our team of architects, builder, electricians, plumbers, et. al. They, Mark and Louie, know their way around a construction site. They were integral in the lighting design and implementation as well as the kitchen, furniture and plumbing choices and many of the finishes. The thing about IDC is they listen to their client. They did not try to fit us into a design silo - they helped us try new things. The best compliment we have received (multiple times) is: "You're house is so perfect but so comfortable." We have worked with Mark since before he started his business - on renovations to an old house and updates to new apartments for our family members and some office interiors. We think they are the best.
