I have been following Isolina's work for years and I finally have the pleasure to start working with Isolina on a long awaited bathroom renovation. Our current bathroom has lots empty space and I have always known the space could be used way more efficiently than its current layout. I just didn't know exactly how to make it work best. This is when my husband and I reached out to Isolina. She brought us so many ideas on how to best maximize the space in ways my husband and I never thought of, while also working with our needs for the space every step of the way. We now have beautiful plans for a bathroom that will finally work for us while keeping true to our style. The entire time Isolina has been very communicative, professional and an overall pleasure to work with. Her talents and industry knowledge truly shine through in a way where you can feel confident that you are getting what you are looking for. I can't wait until we can start finally renovating our space in the new year. I hope to utilize Isolina's talents again for a guest house refresh in the future. Isolina was wonderful to work with. We moved from the east coast, to the midwest, to California - and our Eichler, mid-century modern home was a very new concept for us. We never imagined living on one floor with so much natural light shining through. Isolina helped us create a space that worked with our house-style, but allowed us to also keep our style. Isolina created a wonderful wooden deck and gardening area design for us, it included the layout, furniture and details. The design process was adjusted to our preferences, needs and budget. We decided together the goals of the project and then she provided a plethora of ideas and examples for inspiration. She has an extensive knowledge on materials and brands and provided 3d renders of the designed spaced that were very helpful to visualize the result. She also made detailed blueprints that we could use for permits and the building crew. Isolina is great to work with, she makes you feel very comfortable with any questions and quickly fills any gaps or details that we were missing. Isolina took my wish list for my kitchen and turned it into a dream come true. I love the open feel, clean lines, fun accents and, most of all, the way everything comes together to create a space I want to spend all my time in. She knew what colors and shapes and materials would best translate my vague "wants" into concrete design choices, and even found a way to include my cat in the decision-making process! Isolina designed a fantastic modern home theater for us. While she was not an audio/visual specialist or home theater specialist, she worked well with the sound engineer we hired, who had very exacting standards, and she was able to incorporate tasteful sound diffusers into the design which very easily could have stuck out like sore thumbs. She gave us good/better/best options so we could figure out what fit within our budget. Overall it felt professional and worked out very well. I attached (non-professional) photos.
