Craftworks Home Remodeling and Improvements

We hired Craftworks to remodel our 1913 Craftsman kitchen and it turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined! It's the one with the green cabinets in Jason's photos. Although things took a little longer than any of us would have liked due to surprises found post-demo, Jason kept this first-time remodeler informed all along the way. I felt he was always honest, and was truly after my long-term business and not just getting the job done. I will definitely hire him again.

I've worked with Jason and Craftworks Home Improvement on multiple ongoing home improvement projects (4 projects since 2014). This includes small repairs from the inspection list after our home purchase; a kitchen renovation (new tile backsplash and infrastructure to install a gas downdraft range); a guest room remodel with french doors onto a new deck and covered patio; and plumbing and electrical repairs. Regardless of the job size Craftworks has been great to work with. Jason's bids are fair and reasonable (in terms of both time and cost), we've been pleased with the quality of the work, and all jobs have been completed on time and on budget.

Jason helped us with our kitchen + living room remodel. His team removed a wall and chimney and inserted a beam in its stead. Then his team dry walled and textured the ceiling and walls. In addition, he hired a subcontractor to restore the hidden floors beneath the carpet in our living room. Lastly, he installed trim around the edge of the floor.

It's really difficult to find dependable and affordable contractors; we've been burned before and did our research, which led us to Jason. He and his team gave us a fair and thorough quote, providing details (like screen grabs including price, specs, etc.) for everything they purchased for the job. They were on time, courteous, friendly and completed the job with no hassles at all. We will use Craftworks and Jason for all of our home improvement needs from now on!

Jason was incredibly professional, responded to my requests and questions on a timely basis, and was very easy to work with. I worked remotely with Craftworks on fixing up a rental home I own, and it was great knowing I had someone who would do good work at a fair price. The finished product was very good and a huge improvement over what was there in the first place. Unlike any contractors I've worked with Jason always contacted me back when I called or emailed and was transparent in his dealings with me. I would hire him and his company again if I had more work to be done. The craftsmanship is high quality and nothing is done sloppily. I am an absent landlord for an inherited property used by my sister. There were several tasks that needed to have done to keep the house in good repair. I did not want to take the time to travel to Portland to do these projects. I found Craftworks on the Internet and, with some trepidation, I hired Jason after a phone conversation. He seemed very knowledgeable and willing to do what was needed. His work has proved to be first rate. He was punctual, reasonably priced and professional. I would, and will, absolutely hire him again.

Jason was responsive, worked efficiently, was respectful of our space, and did a great job on the projects we had for him. We would hire him again.

I've had Jason out to our house several times for various projects, and he has consistently done quality work at excellent prices. I prefer to do as much work as I can and then have him fix my mistakes or take over when I am over my head. Some contractors I've come across are less than happy to work around DIY work and will only do the whole job.. Finally, Jason can do a wide range of work from plumbing, to some electrical, fences, decks, kitchens, bathrooms, drywall, etc...

Jason helped out massively with a fix of our wall and door on a 100+ year old house. He had to deal with mismatched walls and other strangeness that comes with an older home. He was very good at coming in on time and budget as well as listening to all of our concerns and suggestions. I would recommend him for any other projects I needed help with.

I found Jason from a Groupon a few years ago and since have used him for every need I have for my primary home and my 2 rental homes. He does quality work. His customer service is exceptional. Jason helped me with an inexpensive partial bathroom remodel in my modest ranch. He was timely and a good communicator. When my neighbors saw the results they could not believe what I actually spent (under 3,000.00). I went from boring, dated contractor grade bathroom to something I really enjoy. This is one remodel where I will definitely recoup my investment. Getting along with a good contractor like Jason is a two way street. We went over my shopping list and I made sure that the products I used were good and would not be an extra hassle for Jason. I took his advice seriously. My beloved needs a new deck and entrance way.
