Jason Wade and the entire Western Building team gave us the best renovation experience we could have ever hoped for. From our first planning meeting through the final punch list, Jason treated our project with the care one would expect him to have taken with his own home. The project was very comprehensive, taking most of our living spaces down to the studs. Limited spaces were opened up and transformed using Jason's problem-solving suggestions, resulting in a total remodel that far exceeded our original vision. We feel like we are finally in the home we have always dreamed of. We cannot overstate how grateful we are to have had Western Building renovate our home and we recommend Jason and Western Building without reservation.

Jason and the team at Western Building are amazing to work with — in so many ways. Trust with a contractor is vital (we've had BAD experiences in the past!) — and Jason and WBC earned our trust, 110%. Why? They invested in learning about us, about our project, about our dreams, etc. WELL before we actually signed a contract with them to remodel our kitchen and replace some windows and doors. Jason devoted the time and energy to get to know us (and we him) before any work began. Then — in the midst of a VERY challenging personal situation, Jason showed a level of compassion and empathy that was very much appreciated (and, again, maybe unexpected from a "typical" contractor). His care for us as human beings was wonderful. Then — the Ts and Cs of the contracting process were clear, simple, and accurate. Jason was upfront about everything, and the team "on the ground" (Barry, Tom, etc.) delivered. They showed up to work on time, were clean and respectful, did what they said they were going to do — on time, on budget, with a HIGH level of skill and craftsmanship. It's like they were building something THEY would use in our kitchen remodel. It was clear they were skilled — but even more so, it was obvious they CARED about the result. It never felt like we were just another customer. We built strong trust and partnership with Barry, Tom, and Jason (and the other subcontractors too) — where the 1,000 different decisions needed in a custom project were explained, discussed, and the decisions were made in partnership and collaboration. Inevitably there are punch list items — and that was true with our project too. However, the list was SHORT, and Jason and his team took care of everything expeditiously and professionally. We even had an issue during a party — on a Sunday — and Tom made it a point to come THAT evening to take care of it. Exemplary customer service. Anyway — working with Western Building is SO different from the experience we've personally had with other contractors — and the experience we've heard about from so many of our friends, neighbors, and family. I recommend them 110% — you'll be glad to include them in your project.

Jason and his team at Western did an outstanding job renovating my new townhome, where virtually every surface was demoed and rebuilt. Jason went far beyond the typical responsibilities of a general contractor—he provided design consultations, vendor recommendations, material inspections, and thoughtful iteration throughout the project. The contracting, billing, and reconciliation processes were clear, accurate, and transparent. The project stayed on schedule, and any delays were solely due to additions I made to the scope as I saw the finished product take shape. His foreman and crew clearly take pride in their work. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and follow-through—especially with post-job installations and final tweaks—were exceptional. I highly recommend Western for anyone looking for a dedicated, skilled, and professional renovation team.

Over the years, WBC has done a number of projects for me. Entire house remodel, bathroom remodel, laundry room, basement, and others. In each case, the work was exemplary. The owners and workers are all great, professional, and personable. My association with them is over 25 years. For any home project, I do not even consider calling anyone but Western. Even projects that are years old have stood the test of time. In each case, I am as happy years later as I was when the project was initially completed. I give WBC my highest recommendation.

I would a thousand percent recommend Western Building! From initial meeting to concept design to the completion of the project . . . I couldn’t be more pleased. I (we ) were listened to, guided, options and opinions were given, and piece by piece everything fell into place. Western Building is such a pleasure to work with; remodels and other construction projects are hard, and WBC worked with us every step of the way to deal with cost issues, disruption, and every other difficulty. All at WBC became a part of our family. We wouldn't turn anywhere else for design and construction help!

I truly could not speak more highly of Western Building, nor could I recommend them more strongly. After having a few not so great experiences with contractors, I entered the process with a little trepidation. My fears were immediately put to ease upon the very first meeting. They are extremely transparent and excellent communicators. The contract includes "allowances" for all items, so it is extremely clear that if you exceed that allowance you'll have to pay a bit more in the end, or if you are under, you'll receive a credit. That transparency provided us with a lot of comfort and trust. The quality of their work is top-notch, and the final products exceeded our expectations. Jason, Chuck, Jose and Ray were all extremely professional, courteous, and so very kind throughout the entire process. During the project, Jose was in our home daily and Jason weekly; they really started to feel like family! We are very grateful for them and could not hold them in higher regard. For reference, Western Building did a complete remodel of a bathroom (which included custom cabinets, a custom vanity, and very creative mirror/light situation!), removed & replaced flooring in several areas of the house, painted multiple rooms, replaced all faucets, repaired drywall, fixed some really loud squeaks in our existing flooring, among many other miscellaneous things around the house.

I worked with Western Building on five separate renovations over a six year time frame. I have been very happy with the results and we do receive compliments. The two most important elements for me were that any issues that arose (which will always happen during a renovation) were addressed and I trusted the team. I knew who would be in my house, I had their phone number, and since they were consistent I actually built relationships with them. Also, they accommodated mid-project changes as requested and worked with me on solutions. I have recommended Western Building to several friends.

We hired Western Building to renovate our entire main floor. Everything was stripped down to the studs. Several walls were moved and reframed, plumbing lines were relocated, doors and windows were added and removed, and the entire project was smooth from start to finish. The finish product completely exceeded our expectations and they stayed on budget. I would and always do highly recommend this company.

I have no hesitation recommending Western Building. Their work is excellent but the icing on the cake is the attention you receive. After the job is done if you have an issue Jason responds immediately.

We have used Western Building on several major renovation projects since 2015 and they are a top notch company. They have true craftsmen that do the job right and beautifully. No, they aren't the cheapest company in town, but the quality of their work is superior. You get what you pay for and that is definitely the case with Western Building. We partnered with Western Building Corp to do a total remodel of our home. We basically touched every wall in the house, dug out additional basement and set the second story up structurally for phase two of the project (pop top). We will no doubt use Western to complete phase two. The team is very professional, total craftsman and are very attentive to detail and great communication.
