We have had several home projects done by JMGC over the years. Once we decided to screen in our patio, we called Jay. He suggested features which we loved, drew up plans, and the crew brought the vision to life. Our neighbors have noticed the beautiful addition as well, and we can’t wait for warmer weather to enjoy the new space! Thank you Jay, Karen , and your team for a job well done!

My wife and I were very pleased with the design and remodeling work done by JMGC. We had 2 bathrooms and a dressing room done. We really made a great choice in choosing JMGC. It begin with Jay in the design phase and Karen in interior design. They considered our opinions and feelings throughout the process and we could not be happier wit the result. In the actual build, JMGC's team is led by Rich. A more conscientious and considerate team leader would be difficult to find. As for the team preforming the work along with Rich, we want to cover 2 important areas. First is the care and detail they put into their work. Little things that they knew and from experience and did made the final product so much better. This goes from studs, to trim work, to painting. Secondly, these are genuinely good, caring folks. The Best, I had a tree fall through my roof, they fixed the roof so fast and perfect you would never know anything happened to it. The ceiling inside is also perfect! Beautiful paint job. The men are all friendly and polite and really know what they are doing. They are truly the Best. Clean and Fast very professional.

Jay and Karen are a rare combination in the GM space. They don't just do a project they creatively invent living spaces that will not disappoint. They eliminated the guesswork and anxiety that accompanies any big project. They pay attention to every detail and make recommendations that most GMs would not consider. The Millers are not the low price contractors but you won't be led astray and get frustrated, you will be very extreamly pleased with the results and the overall value. My wife Ina and I Have a Historic Stone house in Easton Pennsylvania. On Dec 11th 2015 the 3rd Floor master bedroom and bathroom was destroyed by Fire. The rest of the house was destroyed by water. I have been a Roofing Contractor for 25 years. The second day after the fire I knew there was only one company with the experience to handle this project and restore the house properly. Jay was there to meet the insurance adjuster with very short notice. After we walked through the house with Jay and the adjuster I knew I made the right choice! Jay was there with his Crew the next day organizing every aspect of the job! Protection was installed on the Banister which extends all 3 floors. All of the original 100+ year old woodwork was carefully removed, labeled, cleaned and restored. It was then stored for 6 months until construction was finished. Then each piece would be re-installed in its original location. Then all walls utilities and mechanical s were completely removed and updated to code. The 3rd Floor & Roof was completely removed and replaced to the original. All exterior trim which was damaged was replaced to the original. Jay has a fabulous group of Contractors! Everyone of them was friendly, knowledgeable and great to work with! Karen Miller worked closely with my wife Ina making sure all the Floor Tile, paint colors, Bathrooms, lighting & Plumbing fixtures were all matching the Historic value of the House. This company really helped take the mental stress of having a fire and losing your belongings off of our minds. Absolutely great company with the Highest Quality Craftsman would not hesitate to recommend for any project.

I had a very bad experience with a previous contractor. I decided to call Jay Miller to help me with a flooded basement. He was extremely caring, spoke very knowledgeably with the insurance adjustor, and finally repaired my basement in a very short time. He did quality work, and I am completely satisfied. I find him to be professional and reliable, highly recommend this contractor.

We were looking to remodel two bathrooms and a powder room. After meeting Jay and discussing our ideas, he came up with plans that were perfect for our home. Every worker that came into our home was extremely professional, courteous, and made us feel comfortable. We were asked questions and showed different ways things could be done. There was no cutting corners and all his workers took pride in their expertise. Every job was done with perfection and pride. Jay was always here everyday to see the workers and see how the job was going. He also would sit with us to see how we felt with the work so far. Karen Miller, Jay's wife is an invaluable part of the project. She helped us in so many ways with choosing colors, tiles, granite, fixtures, etc., , for the bathrooms. Karen would always stop by daily to see how things were going with us too. The hands on approach and comfort level with Jay, Karen, and their workers was wonderful. They felt like family. The bathrooms remodeled project turned out to be the start of a larger project. We ended up changing the tile in foyer, painting foyer, and remodeling dining room and living room. Then we proceeded up stairs, painting and changing all trim around every window and baseboard in all rooms. We replaced our upstairs carpet with absolutely beautiful hardwood floors. We ended up removing carpet on stairs and turning them into custom hardwood stairs and railings. We probably would have stopped with the bathrooms project, but we were so happy with their work, knowledge, and understanding of our needs and decor, we just kept going. Each job they did from beginning to end was always a WOW job. Jay makes sure that everything is to your liking and perfect. Jay and Karen Miller are not happy until you love it!! Jay Miller and his talented team of craftsmen began work on my home in June 2014 and six months later they have turned what was a beautiful old ranch into a spectacular home. Skylights have opened up rooms that were cosy but dark; two bedrooms, one very large the other very small, that shared a 1960’s bathroom are now well proportion rooms with en suit facilities. So far so impressive. Then the team moved on to the kitchen and now that too is finished all I can say is “Wow!” I now have a gourmet kitchen that is not only beautiful to behold but is a pleasure to use. If you are reading this and are in need of the services of a gentleman contractor who only accepts the highest standard from his crews then Jay is your man. Do not expect to be able to brag to your friends how cheaply you remodeled your home. Perfection is never cut price. However there will be no sticker shock along the way. All requests for changes to the original construction agreement are preceded by a change order which lays out your requested change and the cost. You thus have the time and the facts to decide if you really do want a gold plated tub instead of the shower specified in the construction agreement! I cannot recommend Jay Miller General Contractors too highly. I have told Jay that I would consider it a pleasure to show prospective customers around my home so that they can see first hand the results of his work on my house.

We hired Jay to redesign our entire 2nd floor and add a master bedroom over a 2 car garage. We also re roofed the entire house and needed to match up siding as part of the project Jay was great working with us from the original design drawings, working through the estimates, providing alternate options to manage costs thru the build, and final completion. We were looking for someone to manage the entire process and he delivered. It's been about 5 years since the job was completed and we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the work and we've weathered 2 hurricanes (Sandy and Irene) with absolutely no problems which goes to show you get what you pay for. Highly recommend Jay and we'd hire him again if we ever needed work done.

I worked consistently with Jay and his team for about 4 years helping him complete many projects while building a life long friendship with them. Jay is an honest hardworking contractor. He brings to the project an easy going stress free personality that is contagious and allows for better communication and problem solving making the job run smoother. The work was completed in a timely manner and Jay ensured that we were completely satisfied with the renovation before accepting final payment.
