Jurney Homes

Ben Jurney was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He provided a very thorough timeline for the work to be performed and updated me regularly as to the progress. His sub-contractors were very hard workers - they showed up around 8am and often worked well past 6 in the evening. He only hires top contractors and the finished work reflects that!! He had excellent, practical design ideas! I would definitely use Ben again and would highly recommend him!

Ben gets projects finished. He is accessible, responsive, ethical and knowledgeable. Also, unlike many contractors, he does not come to you in mid-job asking for more money. He did a high-quality kitchen and cabinet remodeling job for us, and he built a custom wine bar. His crews are polite and pleasant, and they make a smaller mess than most other contractors we have used. They do a very good job of sealing off the areas under construction in order to minimize the dust factor in other parts of the house. if something needs fixing or attention, he accepts responsibility and takes care of the issue. We would definitely use Ben again, and we probably will.

Was great at keeping to schedule. They were diligent at working with us on resolving any hiccups during the process. Very polite and easy to talk with.

We contracted Ben and his team (Kainos Properties) for a pretty big remodel job on our 1960's home in Oak Forest. The focus of the remodel was in the kitchen and main living areas. We took down two load-bearing walls (and installed beams in the attic) and did a kitchen remodel, which included plumbing, cabinetry, framing, electrical, sheetrock, texture, paint, countertops, backsplash, and fixtures. The whole process was stellar, from beginning to end. Not only was the Kainos management friendly and professional, the sub-contractors provided were also friendly, courteous, and professional. One of the things that sold us on Kainos was the prompt and thorough communication Ben provided from the beginning, and that was our experience throughout the entire process. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Kainos, and how fortunate we feel to have found someone trustworthy and competent in our search. We are writing this review from our new kitchen (which we love), and will definitely hire Kainos for future projects.

Kainos remodeled our master bathroom and did an incredible job... couldn't recommend them more. Job included new shower enclosure, replaced built in tub with stand alone, and custom made vanity.

Recently had Kainos Properties complete a remodel for me and the experience was fantastic! I have nothing but praise for this company. I've had the opportunity over the years to paint/remodel/construct all kinds of home projects and this has been my best experience to date. The crew was always on time, came when they said they would, completed the job within the stated estimate, always kept the work environment clean and were always pleasant and enjoyable to work with. When you have people in your home to do a project, I feel it's important for that individual or company to have integrity and to be trustworthy. These are 2 qualities that absolutely describe this crew and company as a whole. I would absolutely recommend them and I can't wait to have them get started on my next project!

Kainos Properties remodeled our master bathroom and laundry room. We are extremely pleased with the final results. It was a pleasure to work with Ben Jurney and his crew. Ben is extremely professional, and he worked very hard to be sure the project went according to our expectations. We had a couple minor problems; for example, we had trouble locating our selected countertops in the project budget, but Ben went above and beyond to try to find alternatives and to make our first choice a possibility. Ben and his crew also offered excellent suggestions throughout the process. We would highly recommend Kainos Properties.

I am thrilled with my kitchen remodel. Kainos Properties was professional, detailed and they finished ahead of schedule! Highly recommend!
