We hired Jenni Leasia Design to remodel our kitchen and powder bath on the main floor, and add a new jack and jill bathroom on the second floor. The house is in NE Portland and was in rough shape. We are empty nesters and wanted the kitchen to function for us when we are home along, but also when our four grown children and their friends are visiting. Jenni understood what we wanted better than we did and we love our new kitchen and bathrooms. They function perfectly and are so beautiful, and are respectful of the 1920s character of the home. One daughter visiting this past weekend asked what I would change if I could, and I could not think of a single thing?

I recently downsized and purchased a townhome. Fearing buyers remorse, I enlisted the help of Jenni and her design team to make my new space a home I would love coming home to. Mission accomplished! With Jenni’s great style and eye for detail, my rather dark townhouse was transformed to a bright, updated and comfortable space! New flooring, carpet, kitchen, bathrooms, furniture, window treatments and lighting- I love it all! Jenni and her team were professional, open to my ideas and cognizant of my budget. I am forever grateful!

We began working with Jenni Leasia and her team early on in a complex and challenging full-house renovation. From the outset, Jenni listened closely to our ideas and developed a strong understanding of what we were looking for in a home. She was deeply attuned to the existing architectural style, the surrounding area, the light and, perhaps most importantly, how we as clients envisioned living there. Combining this with her broad knowledge of design aesthetics, materials, color, and scale brought the many disparate parts of the project into a cohesive whole. Her ideas and suggestions – based on a keen sense of what would work, and what wouldn’t – helped turn a few basic ideas for a 25-year-old house into an extraordinary and stunning transformation. While Jenni and Jessica provided exceptional design creativity at an affordable price, they also provided invaluable functional advice, ideas, and support. The kitchen redesign was a collaborative effort based on exactly how we would use it – and it has proven to be perfect. Bathrooms were elegant without going over the top. And when we decided to have several custom elements made for the house, Jenni’s extensive contacts with suppliers and subcontractors helped ensure that each element was fabricated to precise specifications and fit well within the overall design. This detailed, hands-on approach – coupled with a consistently positive and problem-solving attitude, and unfailing good humor – made a long and challenging project much more bearable than could normally be expected. Jenni and Jessica were an absolute pleasure to work with, and the results – a beautiful, functional, and comfortable home - are far beyond what we could have imagined. We couldn’t have done it without Jenni and her team. We give them our highest recommendation.

Jenni and her team knew what we needed even before we did and the results are truly magical. Our new space has so much light and beauty - it is a real joy to walk into the house and see our garden through our new, giant kitchen windows! All the details are so gracious, timeless and lovely. I conducted a very long and thorough search with dozens of local designers to work with us on our Townhome remodel prior to selecting Jenni Leasia- we are so pleased with both the final outcome as well as the process. Jenni stood out because she really listened to what we thought was important AND understood/respected our budget! She and Jordan made an awesome team who not only knew how to take our ideas and incorporate them, but also how to really enhance/elevate them to level that exceeded our expectations. We have worked with other professional design companies on past projects, however Jenni Leasia has created an amazing home for us and a very enjoyable experience along the way. They are masters at quality, and most important, they CARE about the project and outcome as much as we did. When reviewing options, Jenni and team would reinforce how important it was to them that we were happy with the process, including when we made changes. Based on how great the design for our kitchen and master bath was progressing, we hired Jenni Leasia to do the interior design for the entire rest of our home which, in addition to being beautiful, was also on time and on budget. I was extremely lucky to find Jenni after interviewing a couple of other designers when I moved to Portland in 2015. For the first stage of our project she worked with me on a design scheme for our house. She picked all paint colors, had floors redone, skylights put in and built ins made for a home office. She also purchased most of the furniture, lights and rugs for our home. She is extremely well organized and easy to work with. I find that she good at listening and customizing according to your needs and wishes. I would have never found the high quality sofas and chairs that she had custom made for us. The rooms not only look good but feel good and are very functional. For the second stage of our project we did a gut kitchen renovation including dining room and sun room. I could not be happier with the results. Jenni is very thourogh and makes a binder with all the details, colors, materials, knob locations etc for a contractor work with eliminating a lot questions that would otherwise come up later. Jenni Leasia far exceeded our expectations for the redesign of our living room and dining room areas. These rarely-used rooms are now the spaces we use and enjoy the most. The unused living room became a welcoming mid-century sunken entertainment hub. The dining room was transformed into a great area for entertaining in the evening but quickly transforms into an office drafting and work space with abundant storage. Jenni and her team listened when we said we wanted to keep the design compatible with the 1960's feel of the house, helped us create a strong indoor-outdoor relationship with the garden, kept us informed throughout the process and coordinated with the contractors installing the project. Our remodel was completed 6 years ago and we are now preparing for the next round of improvements in another area of the house. We plan on having Jenni recreate these areas and look forward to working with her. Jenni is experienced, thoughtful and listens. All great qualities when you are making a major investment!

Thanks to Jenni Leasia Design we are loving our completely remodeled kitchen, family room and living room. Jenni worked with us on all aspects of the remodel including design, materials, colors, hardware, furniture and accessories. Jenni did an outstanding design job for us. She helped us select furniture, lighting, rugs and artwork for our newly remodeled first floor of our home. We are in the process of remodeling our master bathroom. I spent so much time trying to figure out what I want, what I like and what I could achieve in the space. When Jenni came in, within minutes she came up with new ideas that will make our master bathroom fabulous. Her attention to detail including lighting (which is so important) was great. Jenni came up with a color scheme that I love and the whole project will be a good investment. Plus, she's so sweet that you just want to make her your new best friend. Excellent design. Our kitchen turned out stunning thanks to Jenni and her team. We were new to the kitchen & bathroom remodel game, and are not very handy people. Jenni and my wife clicked almost immediately when it came to Jenni's design ideas and we had a wonderful experience working with Jenni and Jordan throughout the remodel process. They were attentive and they showed a lot of care for their work. Although designing costs a pretty penny, we thought Jenni's design, guidance and suggestions were well worth it.
