Jim review Guggenheim Remodeling has truly transformed our house in the best way possible! We moved in to a home that needed a GREAT deal of TLC— and Jim and his team absolutely delivered! We had them complete a plethora of jobs— from tearing down paneling and cabinets in some rooms to installing all new interior doors and lock sets, baseboard, and trim/molding in the entire home. There were some additional miscellaneous projects. We closed on the house on a Friday, and Jim and his guys were in Monday morning to start the work! Jim and his whole team were very easy to work with. They always completed everything incredibly promptly (no waiting around!!)— which was of prime importance to us as we were on the clock waiting to move in! Jim was also able to answer any questions I had or guide my choices. He has such a wide range of tradesmen, and they all do fantastic work. The carpentry work is phenomenal— our house feels like a brand new home because of it! You get what you pay for, and Guggenheim Remodeling was well worth the investment. Finding Jim Guggenheim was simply the best thing that happened to us. We bought an old 4400+ sf house in the Heights that needed a major renovation. We brought it down to the studs, and touched on every single room. Jim was the captain of this ship and did a phenomenal job at it. He has many many qualities - always available, always present, always thorough. Always patient. Very very transparent and honest all times. We knew what we wanted and Jim basically worked with us on all the requests. We thank him for the seamless open space layout we got on first floor - it happened bc he knew so much about structural engineering. Jim works with pretty much every team that one might need - from painters to roofers, plumbers, kitchen, carpentry, electrical, etc. We got our project done in about 7 months including demo and full demo. Can't recommend him enough! I wouldn't find anyone else - you found your guy!

I am preparing to sell my home in Cleveland Heights, OH Guggenheim Remodeling was recommended by my real estate agent. To resolve several violations cited by the city ,Guggenheim Remodeling completed major repairs and upgrades to my home. The quality of their work resolved several violations Since their services are in high demand, the work took awhile to complete but Jim Guggenheim regularly provided potential completion dates. A few more violations still need to be resolved but I am confident that they will be completed soon.

We asked our realtor to recommend a contractor for the kitchen and living room renovation we were planning and explained our concerns – the costs of building supplies were going up and availability was going down, appliance supply chains were in chaos due to covid, many contractors were finding it difficult to hold onto workers. And we were on a restricted budget. Our realtor didn't hesitate and recommended Jim Guggenheim. Jim saw us through, understood our need to stay within budget, brought in friendly crews who had worked with him for years, and never flinched when we changed our minds on various remodel details a couple of times – alright, a few times. Jim is professional, friendly, quick to respond to questions, and actually lent us an expensive tool to help us accomplish the one part of the remodel we were capable of doing ourselves. We know that throughout our remodel, Jim was also working on projects budgeted in seven figures. When we first met with Jim he said to us that there were no little projects and we found out that he really meant it. High quality work, professionalism, and a friendly, helpful personality. Jim is professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Jim and his team were able to transform our 1930’s home to a more modern layout, while keeping the 1930’s character and charm. He and his team were extremely skilled at their trades as well as being respectful and having a sense of humor with our family. We highly recommend Jim for any home renovation project.

Project Scope: Complete redesign, & reconstruction of our kitchen. The project started with Lee Zion @ Carter Jones. Lee came to help us relayout the 45 yr old kitchen. Lee's knowledge and experience was invaluable to us in a new layout with modern cabinet conviences. Lee recommended Jim Guggenheim Remodeling as a experienced contractor he has worked with. I highly recommend both Lee & Jim as true professionals in remodeling. We had planned a vac. in Oct. so it was planned to start then. We ordered the cabinets with Lee in June. for a 12 week delivery. Tearout started Oct. 4th. , rewiring followed for the new layout and then drywall. Cabinet installation started 2 wks after that. New flooring, tile backsplash, painting, lights and appliances re-installed. It was a seamless, trouble free experience. Started to moved back in Nov. 15th. 6 weeks from start. There was still a punch list of a few items to complete. But, start to complete finish in 8 weeks. Jim and his various subs, are very professional, knowlegable, and through. Doing this major reconstruction while you're still living in the house can be a challenge. But, Jim helped make it as stress free as possible. Refigerator moved into dining room to use & as soon as the cabinets were installed, the sink & stove were temporarly hooked back up. Jim was alway available to call and get updates, review any issues that came up and kept us informed. It could not have gone any better & NO Surprises !!! If your planning to remodel your kitchen. Jim and his team are the best. They do high quality work, are a pleasure to have around, and go above and beyond the call of duty. For example, I had purchased a dishwasher from Lowes that did not work. I couldn't get help from Lowes. Jim talked to his friend at Lowes and was able to help me get the issue resolved. Jim Guggenheim managed a substantial renovation of our 1930s house. The project included a full bathroom and flooring for a 3rd floor suite, extensive wall repair and painting, some plumbing and electrical work throughout. We could not be happier with the quality of the work and with the professionalism of Jim and his people. He works with some of the finest craftsman and did quite a bit of custom work on the house. Jim also provided excellent recommendations for our project and was considerate of our budget. We will certainly work with him again as we continue to upgrade our home and we enthusiastically recommend him to anyone needing remodeling of their home.

What can I say, I look at houses for sale online in Shaker Heights, Ohio with fully renovated kitchens and they don't look half as good as my new kitchen. Jim used the finest materials and the finest craftsmen and tradespeople to create a stunning showplace. I knew our kitchen renovation was going to look good but I had no idea it would look this good.

Jim Guggenheim worked on a major project for us from July 2020 to January 2021. We were thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and dedication throughout a challenging and busy period. I don’t think some people realize the obstacles faced by essential workers and contractors during COVID and how it turned their planning and execution of jobs upside down due to impact on material, logistical, and health systems. That said, we know Jim always had our best interest in mind, and he pushed hard to make sure things were done in a timely manner and done right. Jim has been in the business a long time and it shows. He has access to some extremely talented tradesmen. Everyone who has had the opportunity to see the work mentions the attention to detail. I’m sharing a few photos so someone can judge the transformation and see the level of craftsmanship themselves.
