We are so grateful for the thoughtful eye and guidance Julie has provided during the creation of our forever home! Making the move from apartment living in the city to renovating our dream home in the suburbs seemed daunting and such a huge undertaking with our young family, but JKIL has made every step of the process seamless. Her connections within the industry and her knowledge of what the modern family needs to make day-to-day life more comfortable has truly made all the difference in planning the small moments throughout our home. I am most thankful for her ability to manage communications between all the members of the team, from architects to contractors and ordering reps, making decisions and edits along the way without requiring my involvement because she thoroughly understands our preferences. Throughout the planning process, she has shown close attention to our family's needs and design interests, narrowing down our design styles better than I ever could after sifting through our endless inspiration photos. We are so thrilled with the process so far, and are so thankful for Julie's kindness and professionalism. I can't wait to see her vision for our home come to life!

I have been working on my home with Julie- particularly a massive kitchen renovation, dining area and several other spaces. Through even the most chaotic year of covid and having a baby, Julie and the JK Interior Living Team have kept me focused and moving forward on all our projects. I keep adding more rooms to our project because working with them is so exciting and such a dream come true! Our once empty house is now coming together as a real intimate home and it’s all because of Julie! Getting to work with Julie is such a pleasure - I am so lucky!

From custom wood finishes, millwork design, hardware, fabrics and trims - each layer is so carefully thought out and curated. Julie's passion for design is contagious and inspiring; it makes working with her so much fun!

Julie has helped our family make the transition from urban apartment living into a house in the suburbs seamless and stress- free. We were completely overwhelmed with creating a home that was both beautiful and yet live-able with two young children. Julie has been instrumental in guiding and focusing us on a plan of action that makes sense. Her taste is absolutely impeccable as is her attention to details. Julie and along with every member of her team are extremely professional, an absolute pleasure to deal with and each of them have gone above and beyond. Julie’s vision and execution thus far has exceeded our expectations (including those of my very skeptical husband - lol). We couldn’t be happier with the progress made in just three months and we cannot wait to continue working with Julie and her team on the rest of the house!

There are no words to accurately describe how critical JK Interiors has been to creating the home we had only dreamt about. We found ourselves buying a home that we fell in love with, but that was also the complete opposite of our taste. Julie and her team transformed the space - from managing the construction to designing each room to how we live. It's been an incredible transformation, and, well, it's gorgeous. Julie for sure has a talent that is unmatched. We moved into our house with very little furniture and in under a year she transformed our living room, dining room, family room and master bedroom into exactly what we wanted - a home that we can raise our family in. Her custom work is unparalleled, the team of carpenters, painters etc are top notch and very professional - and the best part is she managed everything. As a self-proclaimed "control freak" I had a hard time letting go and trusting the process, but Julie is a professional and you can really trust her to get the job done right and work very hard to make sure her clients are happy. Will definitely use JK interior living in the future.

We moved into a beautiful home with an eyesore of a front room - very paneled, very outdated and way beyond our design capacity. As new homeowners, we didn’t know where to start or who to enlist for help. Enter Julie and the JK team with a clear vision, gorgeous sense of style and a network of talented, well-vetted technicians. Julie converted our dated space into a timeless, beautiful retreat. She and her team oversaw the full process and were not only responsive to our needs along the way, but were able to cover (assist with deliveries, etc.) so the process continued without delay. For a couple with limited design sense and a tendency towards indecision, Julie’s design process was a dream - discuss vision, favorite some designs and let Julie craft the perfect space. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Julie and her team! From the moment I met Julie, I knew she would be able to create the perfect home for me and my family. She was there every step of the way, as we built our custom home from the ground up, making sure no detail was overlooked. Julie designed with intent making sure all of our millwork, furniture, window treatments, artwork etc created a story throughout the home while still being functional!! Julie and her team were professional, listened to our needs and hands-on throughout the whole process. Julie made the overwhelming idea of moving to a new town and new home a seamless process. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the final product and truly love waking up in our new home! xx

Julie brings to the table so many qualities I was looking for in a designer. Her process is incredibly smooth, as she began by gaining a firm understanding on the direction I was looking to go. As a busy full time working mom, I appreciated the convenience of having that pre-existing team in place, having full confidence that the job was being properly managed from all angles without my need to micromanage each field. Julie is professional, dedicated, and passionate about her work and it shows in every little detail, none of which is overlooked. She is mindful with her designs and believes in designing with intent, always keeping functionality a priority whether it’s a built-in design or a fabric selection. Julie has been instrumental in turning our house into a home. My goal was to tweak the design of our 100+ yr old home while staying true to the character. Julie guided us through the process of refinishing floors, trim, built-ins, and selecting paint and wallpaper.
