From start to finish Jocelyne Borys is hands on and conscientious to a fault. She worked on a bathroom remodel for us during the summer. She takes the time to really understand where her clients want to go with a project and then proceeds to make the kind of informed choices that are just spot on. Whether it be tile, a custom vanity, the demo of a wall to create space, or any variety of fixtures, she recommends products and materials that hit the center of the target. We really had very little decision making to do because her suggestions went right to the heart of what we envisioned. She is also great with making suggestions of how to utilize space in the most efficient way and has a seamless connection to the contractor that we worked with. Our bathroom is truly next level (our favorite room in the house). The custom vanity, tile work (floor, shower, wall), custom closet, medicine cabinet, lighting, fixtures, and shelving all comes together in this perfect harmony of color, texture, and style. This is all due to Jocelyne’s work as a designer and intimate knowledge of form and function. She was involved with the smallest details of our remodel and the fact that she works on major multi-million dollar projects and still takes the time and care to make sure that everything comes together seamlessly makes her all that much more impressive. All her encyclopedic knowledge of materials, lighting, options aside …. she also really does her homework and will not be satisfied until her client is happy. We honestly do not know of another designer that has the scope of understanding how all the moving pieces of a remodel works and has the ability to convey with such great clarity and detail to the contractor. I currently now love my home! The home while beautiful did not originally fit my style or personality. I knew that I could use a designers touch to help put it together. Jocelyne was the choice! Reasonable, mindful, trustworthy (very important for someone who travels), kind, and best of all...talented! I was afraid that I would have to toss every piece of furniture and start over. Well - that wasn’t the case. I’m grateful but moreover - Jocelyne has a big heart and amazing spirit. It was fun working with her.

Jocelyne is amazing! She has a great eye for beauty and details. She narrowed in on my husband and my style and led us through a crazy construction project to style and design our beautiful new home. We are so happy with the end result and she made the process so much less crazy and hectic. She listened to all of our ideas with an open mind and guided us to a finished project that we're so happy to call home. Our contractor loved working with her so much he's even hired her for some of his own projects. We would hire her again in a heart beat!

Jocelyne worked with me to create a new master bedroom/bath suite. From space-planning, selecting materials, execution to final styling, she brought my vision to life. My home’s value has increased and I am so happy with the results!

I know the extraordinary kinds of transformations that Jocelyn Borys effects in her work, and so I knew that I needed her, given the many constraints, both space-wise and budget-wise I had. She helped me integrate the new construction with the existing, simple 50's style home i already had. But it was her creative use of space and glass that truly helped me make space where none was, and turn my master bath laundry area into a simple elegant and intelligent use of space that was also so pretty it was one of my favorite aspects of the new construction! She was very patient with my over-worrying over every single step, easy to work with and flexible. So when I had something I wanted to do she came up with ways to do them I would have never thought of. I loved working with her.

It's my pleasure to write about Jocelyne. Last year she finished a renovation for me and as it was the first one I had ever done, I went into it with much trepidation. Jocelyne made it easy. She was very patient in helping me figure out a design that would work in the spaces and was masterful in taking my design cutouts that I put in a photo book, and translating it to exactly what I wanted. She worked tirelessly to find the right materials and really was on top of dealing with my contractor and subcontractors. She showed up at my house many times with heavy samples to save me trips to the manufacturers. When the woodworking sub was late, she trekked to downtown LA to see what he had already finished and talked to him to speed it up. My experience in the renovation was so much more calming and easy because of the hard work and care Jocelyn put into it.

We loved working with Jocelyne! She has fantastic ideas and was invaluable when it came to helping us hone in and capture our vision! She's on time, prepared and a true joy to work with...plus she's damn good at what she does, is clearly experienced and has great sub-contractors at the ready! We are so thrilled with our home and give so much credit to Jocelyne for making it happen!

Jocelyne Borys was extremely professional, knowledge, work quality and ability to meet deadlines and budget! I had the remodeling of the kitchen, bathroom, floors and painting.
