Very pleased with John's work. His cabinetry is top notch. He stated an estimate for completion and came in on time. He is very responsive and will come by personally to fix any minor issues.

When we decided to remodel our kitchen and family room, we talked to representatives from 3 companies. John Willard was our 4th, and we knew immediately that he was the right person for the job. He had a vision to extend our cabinets to the ceiling that no one else suggested. He has passion, enthusiasm, and interest in every aspect of the job. He invited us to see one of his jobs in Newport Beach, and the owner happened to be home. I was very impressed when she said “ We love John!” That comment and looking at the quality of the work sealed the deal for us. In the family room, he suggested lighting in the beautiful cabinets on each side of the stone fireplace wall. He also suggesting lighting in the cupboards with beveled glass in the kitchen. What a nice touch! Everything about the installation went according to plan and to the design specifications. Any changes along the way were welcome and enhanced the project. His crew respects and works very hard for him. In summary, we highly recommend John Willard for any home project. He is talented, bright, personable and a great communicator. We are very pleased with his outstanding work and management of our project.

We initially hired John Willard to do all the cabinetry work in our entire home, for a gut remodel, and ended up hiring him to act as general contractor too. My wife and I have done several substantial projects over the years in various homes, and I am a very hard judge, and John was the best we've ever had. He is a consummate artisan, and his cabinetry is top notch. He had great attention to detail throughout, brought terrific subcontractors to the job, delivered the project on time, and was exceptionally fair with the pricing of our change orders. I highly recommend him for any project.

John and his team made our dream kitchen! Very very happy with the results. John promised our kitchen remodel would take 8 weeks. It was done in 7 weeks. Working with someone that is talented, honest, good at communicating made this so easy. I would hire him all over again!! John and his crew did an absolutely stunning job on our home; from the wainscoting in the entry, coffered ceiling in the living area, a 10' floor to ceiling desk cabinet in the office with matching stained crown and baseboard, and medallions/ornate trim on the dining room ceiling. The lacquered finish, fine details and unique custom stains are beyond compare and the compliments from guests are endless. We are so grateful to Willard Woodworks for their superior product quality!!

If you're searching for skilled craftsmen rather than just installers, look no further; John Willard and his crew fit the bill. Their work is nothing less than stunning. We moved to a new community where our neighbors hired large wholesale vendors for their projects. Most had nightmare stories of long wait times, unskilled labor, workers not showing up, and lots of mess. Their projects were completed inside their homes with cutting, sanding, and painting done on site, and dust everywhere. One couple waited two months for completion after the project began. John Willard came on time, took precise measurements, advised us with excellent choices and design suggestions we hadn't considered. About four weeks later, he and his crew showed up on time, and in THREE DAYS, installed a ten foot, floor to ceiling all hardwood entertainment center including crown molding, and lighting. They also installed glass fronted lighted cabinets in the kitchen. Yes, in three days! The workmanship is outstanding with seamless joints, and quiet, self-closing doors. They built and finished the cabinets in their shop; no building and paint spraying in your house with dust and overspray everywhere. With any estimate for your project, consider asking where the project is built and where it will be finished. If it's in your house, consider the inconvenience, length of time, hassle, and mess before you sign. I could not be happier with Willard Woodworks and John's crew.

Willard Woodworks designed and constructed an entertainment center and an office built in unit as part of the second bedroom. We worked through a couple versions of the entertainment center before he started construction. The final entertainment center could not have been any better. The actual entertainment center was exactly as designed and was done with excellent workmanship. It is the best piece in our home. In addition to providing drawings and quality workmanship, John Willard is a nice person to work with during all phases of the project.

I contacted Willard Woodworks and gave John a sketch and description of a bookcase we wanted to have made. The response time was quick and complete with a quote. After a brief modification to our drawing, John provided us with a firm cost and a proposed delivery date. Delivery was on time and the bookcase was everything we imagined. The craftsmanship is excellent from fit-up to the finish. The most impressive aspect was the delivery. Jose and Mike delivered the bookcase and took time to set it up. They cleaned it and made certain that each shelf fit. As they worked to install the new furniture, their respect and care for our home was as professional as it could be. We remodeled our home and Willard Woodworks was an important part of making our home beautiful and organized. We had empty niches in our family room, master bedroom and office. They created these beautiful cabinetries for each room that are functional, yet they are like a piece of art. I walk into each room and I love looking at them. All the detail in the wood design and the painting of these cabinetry reflects the quality and pride of workmanship that goes into each piece. Everyone that sees our house compliments the beautiful work of the cabinetries. They also replaced our kitchen cabinets and put in a new kitchen island. Again, I get lots of compliments about how beautiful the kitchen looks. They even helped us organize both our garages and did a fantastic job. Working with John is an ongoing pleasure. Willard Woodworks provides quality high end cabinetry and finishes. We at Stellar Construction wouldn't think to hire another company for all of our cabinet needs. Very professional company that does what they say their going to do, unlike so many other cabinet companies we have had to deal with in past.

Willard Woodworks designed and built custom cabinets throughout our home. He successfully duplicated a wood veneer we had found in competition and he used it throughout the home. In the kitchen he provided a 13' island surrounded by glass fronted cabinets. He also built a nearby floor to ceiling pantry complete with easily accessible pantry drawers. In the office he built a corner desk that gave us (2) workstations. Now we both can be working with lots of room. In the Master Willard designed a floor to ceiling cabinet with lower drawers and upper cabinets. We have never had so much space. Plus Willard was able to provide well appointed cabinets in our (3) baths plus (2) very generous linen cabinets. The project also included racking for our wine room and an audio video cabinet for our Great Room. We appreciated Willard's workmanship and professionalism starting with the cabinet design which he provided and finishing with his installation of the cabinets and stainless steel handles

We did a full kitchen remodel that included cabinets, all new appliances, counter tops, new wood floors, costume bench seating with plenty of storage and base & crown moldings to match all. I have worked on several projects with John Willard. His final product is always high quality. Not all custom cabinet makers stain their cabinets in a booth at their shop. This is really a nice feature for a lot of my clients. He also is not a high volume production shop. My clients like the specialized attention.
