About Us

For many years, I have designed beautiful new homes and have also re-designed the interiors of older homes to suit my client’s dreams with what I call “interior detailing”. Spacious kitchens, light-filled living areas, elegant baths and complete in-home offices are a specialty of mine. I work with my clients to freshen and update both interiors and exteriors. We start with your budget and vision, and I create detailed construction drawings and 3-dimensional computer images of what the finished work will look like. I also provide step-by-step consulting support through the entire project. I will turn your two-dimensional vision into three-dimensional reality.

Joye is what you want in an architect - talented, knowledgeable, ethical, creative, assertive, and patient. She solved design issues in ways that we would never have thought of. She was our advocate with trades and retailers - often asking great questions that helped us to make decisions. When we vacillated on design decisions, she was patient and understanding. She worked to reduce our stress - calm in every storm. It was clear throughout, that her focus was on us getting the house we dreamed of.

Very personable and professional. Listened well, provided options, and explained her vision for the project and preferences clearly and objectively. Excellent relationships with her subcontractors and was an effective liaison between us and the various subcontractors throughout the project. Enjoyed working with Joye very much.

Joye was a pleasure to work with and we would hire her again and recommend her without reservations. Our project involved remodeling a river house in two stages with many restrictions due to the location. She is very knowledgeable and did an excellent job of realizing our dreams. Her designs reflected our taste completely and even more importantly, she worked very well with our contractor. She communicates very well and we always felt that we were a priority even though we know she was very busy.

Joye is very professional to work with. If I call, text or email, she responds right away. I like her professional taste, opinion. We worked together on deciding everything from color of the paint, all the bathroom stuff and where everything needs to be placed. She went with me to lighting, bathroom, cabinets stores and helped me decide what to get. I would highly recommend her. I would use her again. remodel of master bath
