Katie and her team are - simply put - UNBELIEVABLY SPECIAL AND GIFTED!! Being type A control people ( ;) ) and trying to stay within budget, we were a bit hesitant at the prospect of the turn-key flat cost design engagement with minimum interaction and periodic billings. We learned to let go and let Katie do her thing, and our house turned out 1000% BETTER than expected. And the real kicker?! Our KAM Big Reveal came in EARLY and UNDER BUDGET!! Unreal. The ladies totally achieved our style (they are SO intuitive and experienced), which is a delicate balance of classy, elegant, cozy and comfortable. I'd recommend KAM 100 out of 100 times over again! Katie decorated and furnished our entire house from head to toe. The results are stunning and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the final product. In addition, she is truly a professional and a pleasure to work with. I recommend her highly.

We gave Katie a challenge. To fully furnish a 4700 sq ft home in a month. Kam Designs rose to the challenge and completed everything early. An amazing feat in these times of shutdowns and scarce inventory. The furniture, artwork and bedding are high end and luxurious. We are so pleased with our new home!

Katie Merritt and the KAM design team exceeded our expectations in every way. They literally had everything beautifully decorated and ready to live in. We just needed to unpack our suitcases and sit back and enjoy a bottle of champagne. She listens to ideas and general style preferences, and then she does the rest. We love, love, love our new home. The total turnkey package is the best decision we made. Katie is so incredibly thorough from top to bottom. We even had snacks, fresh cut flowers, and cleaning supplies ready. We have also enjoyed the cookbook, mixology book and coffee table books. She has impeccable style and class and we would highly recommend her.

Working with KAM wasn't our first time around the design block, but the BEST! A writer by trade, I actually find it hard to gather the words that convey just how extraordinary Katie is. But, I'll start by suggesting that if you like the photos in her portfolio and choose to work with her, you will step into your dream home at the end of the project AND love her. She is trustworthy, ethical, hardworking, fair on pricing, and oh so talented. We were actually living abroad in Hong Kong and gave Katie our complete trust in pulling together our new home. She exceeded any expectation we could have had for the process and outcome. Further, she patiently supported us through the changes we made when learning our family was expanding by 1 more at the very end of the project. I don't think there is a more well-rounded, honest and hard working designer out there.

KAM Designs transformed my dated Tuscan-style home into a fresh and modern coastal-chic retreat. Katie and her team saw us through a full remodel, providing guidance on all materials, finishes, furnishings, and devising creative design solutions. She has a fantastic eye for space and design, which was critical being remote throughout most of the project. Katie beautifully blended my desire for a clean, neutral palette with sophisticated accents. We especially appreciated her knowledge related to material durability since we have two young kids and dogs! Katie was a dream to work with and made the entire remodel process a breeze. We had a unique concept and design. Katie was able to come up with cool pieces she had built to fit in to our decor. she is super organized and therefore has every detail covered!! I didn't have a lot of time to make sure things were ordered, thought about etc, but she was always on top of everything. Made working with her a breeze and we got a beautiful place that we love.

I truly cannot speak highly enough about KAM Designs. They effectively and efficiently brought the vision of my dream apartment in San Francisco to life. Although a more intimate space than KAM is used to designing, every inch of space was utilized perfectly. KAM had an idea right out of the gate, worked closely with me to insure it's what I wanted and followed through with friendliness, professionalism, and sheer expertise. From the natural (but warm) color pallet, to the shape of the furniture, to the accessories that tied it all together, each room was given its own unique style. The finished product and overall concept not only flows perfectly in its design, but also beams with sophistication and chic style. Katie and her team made my apartment into a home, and I am so lucky to have found them!
