Karl was a literal godsend to me and my family. After nearly two years of spinning our wheels on an addition with our original architect, we found ourselves in a dire situation. We had spent a ton of money, we were being led down a dead end, with misinformation regarding our lot, and plans that were unfeasible, unaffordable, and unnecessary. With a second baby on the way, my family was strapped for time on getting our project moving. Karl came in and immediately put us at ease. He reimagined the plan to a much more sensible and feasible plan, and started us off in the direction we should have been going all along, and at a discount to help given the money we already spent. Most importantly though is how Karl reacted when our project still ended up hitting a snag. Our house is in a complex and more restrictive zone that still ended up needing a variance that no one realistically, even Karl, could have anticipated. Having already been paid in full it would have been easy for him to just move on, but he didn't. He aggressively went above and beyond to do everything he could to expedite the zoning appeal process to get us our permit in record time. Clarkstown is a tricky building department, and I know that without Karl's persistence there would have been no chance for us to get our permit in time to start our build before the winter weather and our baby being born. Thanks to Karl's efforts, his expertise in navigating the zoning board, and most importantly his genuine concern for my families situation we were able to overcome the obstacles and move on to building our house in a timeline that should proceed the arrival of our baby. If you are building the Rockland County area, you can trust Karl with your dream, and I highly recommend that you do.

Karl was recommended to us by a neighbor. Having seen his work in their house we were excited to reach out to him for our kitchen renovation. He came to the house for our first meeting and spent a lot of time listening to what we were looking for in a new layout and what we didn't like in the old layout. He asked lots of questions to get a clear picture of what we were looking to do. Karl came with many great ideas that we hadn't even considered and we really appreciated his professional experience and eye for the best use of the space we had. He suggested opening onto the dining room to make use of that space which allowed us to add an island. He was very patient as we worked through different ideas and worked closely with us to come up with the best plan for our space that also considered cost and best bang for our buck. He was involved and available to answer questions throughout the construction. We asked Karl for his take on things multiple times and trusted and relied on his suggestions. We appreciated all his help and would highly recommend him!

Karl helped put together a fabulous new layout for my kitchen. He quickly submitted the necessary paperwork for the permits and I couldn't be happier with the final product. I highly recommend Karl if you need assistance with your renovation vision!

About 10 years ago, Karl helped us design a dormer for our home. He did a great job, so we hired him again for an addition to our home. He patiently cooperated with us to design the room that we wanted. We recommend him and would work with him again for a future project.
