What an amazing experience with Kate. Her talent and expertise in art helps refine even the smallest details - from the lines in each sofa, to the height of the art. She has an eye not only for design, but the artistic elements that finalize the project. She was so helpful in narrowing down fabric textures and colors, and gave wonderful expert opinion in a timely manner throughout the entire process. She took into account our lifestyle (kids, etc.), all the while making drastic improvements in our most lived-in room, with the best colors. I can't wait to work with her again!! We have worked with Kate on several projects and I cannot recommend her highly enough! First, she helped us with every aspect of two simultaneous total bathroom renovations. Next, she designed the main living area for our busy family with three small children. Both projects turned out amazing, and truly set the feel for our entire home. Kate is creative and enthusiastic, while also very thoughtful about practical considerations in home design. I hired Etch Design based on good reviews from my local mom's group. Kate and Kari were very responsive to my inquire and it was easy to schedule a time for them to come to my house to assist with my projects. We loved into a new home and about a year after moving, I still had some difficulties finding furniture and determining placement of my old furniture into the new space. While I didn't have a big project, I had quite a few little items. Kate and Kari helped me: find a kitchen table, a rug, desk, chairs, and wall decorations for an awkward sized sun room. They also help select colors for our walls in the main living area of the house and bathroom and vestibule areas of the main floor and sunroom. They matched the colors to my existing furniture, kitchen granite, etc and made sure all the colors worked well together. They also helped me select curtain rods, curtains, and roman shades. They provided contractor information too when I needed it. They were always extremely professional, honest, and have a great design sense. They offer competitive rates for the area. I would highly recommend them for little projects (helping with paint colors or new furniture) and large projects like house remodeling or renovations. I will hire them again with my next house project.

I was attempting to design my daughter's nursery on my own but I was only able to come up with paint colors and a general "theme", beyond that I was stuck. Kate from Etch Design Lab came to my rescue. With her advice and ideas I was able to put together a space that both my daughter and I adore! Kate was able to help me with everything; from colors, fabric choices and art to storage and organization. She was so helpful and respectful of my wishes for the space. I greatly look forward to working with Etch Design Lab again in the near future!

I felt quite overwhelmed by task of designing my second nursery. Only knowing that I liked the color gray, Etch swooped in and designed the most relaxing, peaceful room in my house. Kate took on myriad tasks – picking out everything from picture frames to linens, furniture pieces and paint colors. She took an empty room and turned it into a space that will certainly grow with my daughter. Working with the design team was simply a relaxing and fun experience.

I hired Etch Design Lab to consult on the design of my family and living room. They were amazing with their design suggestions and follow through. Kari and Kate incorporated my style within the design and provided fabric selections and window treatments designs.
