Kevin Howard and his firm are a joy to work with. We have worked with them on a number of projects, as designers and fabricators, and have had a wonderful time doing so. At Baker Hesseldenz we strive to create the best product for our clients, and Kevin Howard works to ensure the same thing for his clients. We look forward to working with them on many great projects for years to come.

My first acupuncture practice was in Kevin Howard's office building where his own architecture firm is located. For the most part, he did the buildout on the tenant space that I occupied for four years. The space was zen and modern as suitable for my clients' acupuncture experience. Perhap the most important benefit was that in my first years of an acupuncture practice, the early clients were all very content, peaceful and appreciative. I feel the space helped to create this sense of unity between me and those who visited. There were many moments when Kevin conveyed his sense of functionality and beauty, and I was continually inspired to reach within myself for the experience and calm to help others. I remember one of the most difficult moments was toward the end of the buildout. I had chosen hypoallergenic paints available 2 hours away in Phoenix for at that time the new fume free paints were less available. I spent many hours trying to find just the right subdued green color to match the greens in the springtime desert...full of light and subdued in color. At last with just the right colors, I had had the 1000 square foot painted. Kevin had suggested an Bahaus for the ceiling, a dusk white. It all seemed perfect. Then, painting all done, we walked into the space early in the day. I will never forget what Kevin said with a heart felt sadness...."Tess, your clients will feel sick here." I looked with his vision and saw the duskiness that was indeed too much. So I looked at him and said with equal sadness " I cannot afford to repaint....what shall I do?" He thought for only a minute and responded "Let the white clouds flow down the east-west walls. That will take care of it." And it did. It then was perfect. Lighted like the desert, soft like the client's heart. I will always be thankful for Kevin's inspiration and friendship.

We retained Kevin as our architect for a 3rd home we plan to build in Tucson, Arizona in the gated community of Sabino Springs Estates. While we reviewed the built works of several very capable architects located in Tucson, we selected Kevin because of his versatility in design. Having been in the product design and marketing business for the past 45 years, I have worked with many designers over the years and I have found Kevin Howard to be, not only an incredible talent but a pleasure to work with. He has the unique ability to interpret exactly what my wife and I wanted and execute a finished design product that goes beyond what we had thought possible. He is very easy to work with as he is more than willing to take your ideas and apply them to the design in a way which does not compromise the aesthetic of the architecture/structure. As you can see by the attached computer generated images, we were not looking for the typical, south west architecture but rather a site specific structure with a minimalist approach to design. In addition to architectural design services, Kevin’s firm has an impressive interior/kitchen design depart than has been recently enhanced by becoming a Poliform representative with an onsite showroom. Poliform is one of the world’s finest design firms specializing in kitchen, bath and closet cabinetry. We are currently in the interior finish and engineering phase of this project and looking forward to breaking ground in the near future. We are currently building a house that is based on Kevin B Howard's plans, and so far we can highly recommend Kevin and his team! Kevin not only designed the house, he provided excellent expertise already when we searched for the "perfect" lot. We are very impressed with his concepts, exterior and interior, they are amazing. We like very modern, clean lines ("modern organic/modern zen"), and Kevin pulled off a plan that fully represents our style. Although we presented Kevin with quite a few challenges, Kevin was able to not only address our wishes, but to integrate them creatively in an overall concept. With Kevin B Howard we picked the right architect, and we also learned to appreciate his office team. The professionalism and the ethics shown by all of them towards their clients is wonderful!
