Kyle and Nancy came to us via recommendations by several co-workers and friends and they did not disappoint! Drake House helped us build an addition on our home and handled the entire project from initial drawings and designs, to permitting and the entire buildout. We added a master suite, with a large master bedroom, spacious bathroom with a shower, standing tub, and double vanities, not to mention two walk in closets. They helped us maximize space within our existing house, taking a spare bedroom inward and converting it to an office space and adding a hallway to access the addition. They were very open with us from the beginning regarding our budget and helped us prioritize throughout the process to stay on target. Brendan was our project manager and he did an amazing job providing updates and coordinating with us and all our pets. The subcontractor teams were fantastic, from matching existing wood flooring and paint to helping update HVAC airflow throughout our entire home. We couldn't be happier with the quality, attention to detail, and materials. Not to mention Nancy & Cheyenne’s thoughtful recommendations on the layout, fixtures, tile, and paint to bring us a space we can truly relax in. This was our first renovation project and Drake House helped make it manageable, and we would absolutely work with them again in the future. Thank you, Drake House!

We hired Drake House to add a bedroom and bathroom to our home, as well as update much of the interior (ceilings, lighting, floors, trim, etc). They gave us a timeline and stuck to it so that we could move back in, were super-communicative and clear, helped us navigate many choices efficiently and with great results, and displayed tremendous integrity as a team always. We have been recommending them to anyone who asks us.

If I could give Drake House Construction higher than a (5) star rating I absolutely would! Everything they have done in my home is absolute perfection! Kyle and Nancy are the BEST! They just completed a Master Bath renovation which is stunning (pictures attached)! We used the Drake House for our recent kitchen remodel. From start to finish, their team was attentive and enjoyable to work with. Their staff was patient and took the time to listen to and meet our requests. Nancy and Kyle utilized their design expertise to create our dream kitchen.

From the initial visit into our home to look at the space to the job completion Drake House was on top of every detail. They listened to what we wanted and needed in the space. When we went in for the initial design meeting, they had a beautiful design that had everything we'd hoped for. We made our cabinet, hardware, and lighting choices and left with a proposed start date. The construction process went better than I could have imagined. The crew was at our home everyday at 8:00 and finished up at 4:00. They were hardworking and clearly gifted at their craft, they were respectful of our home, polite, helpful in so many ways. Whenever I had a question, our contractor or the office manager was prompt in answering. The app they use to send messages, to make selections, changes, and payments made the communication so easy. Our kitchen is absolutely stunning...more than we could have imagined...It's just perfect down to the smallest details. Drake House thought of everything!! I highly recommend them for your next remodel.

I would not use them. We originally planned to use them for our kitchen and bathroom. After our current experience with the kitchen, would not recommend them. The owner thinks that the project is complete with door handles falling off, cabinets not being aligned, gaps with the dishwasher and stove, cabinet that don't match the design. Then tries to intimidate and threaten via a lawyer for payment.

Kyle and Nancy understood our vision for our home and executed, while really sticking to our budget! We truly never felt like any question we had was too small, and any concern we had throughout the process was addressed. Frankly, the relationship felt more like a friendship and not so much a business, something which is important when it comes to building your home. We enjoyed working with both of them and appreciate all they did for our family!

I did a lot of research finding the perfect company for us, and Drake House Construction was perfect! Nancy does a great job taking your ideas and creating a design just for you. They communicated wonderfully, and we never wondered where we were in the process. They did a great job overseeing the subcontractors as they began their jobs. As with any construction project, there are bound to be some small problems, but they were so helpful and always ensured they would get it right, and they did! They cleaned up along the way and made sure the house was taken care of and not dirty (as much as possible). I absolutely love my new bathroom! It looks like it belongs in a magazine! I am so glad we with went with Drake House Construction & Design!

We are thrilled with the remodel of our master bathroom which was completed by Drake House. The remodel was extensive and involved reconfiguring the master bathroom / closet floorplan and relocating the shower. Kyle and Nancy made the design and selection of materials so easy. Once the project started the project manager was on top of everything, visiting regularly and always available to answer our questions. All the workers that came to our house were polite, honest and left the place clean. The end result is absolutely stunning and is our dream master bathroom. We cannot wait to work with Drake House again on future projects in our home.

I'm super happy with the renovation of my master bathroom by Drake House Construction & Design, from their initial guidance during the material and accessory selection phase to the actual remodeling project and completion. Kyle is very knowledgeable, flexible and professional and Nancy has great taste and was very resourceful when it came to replacing materials, when necessary. The workers were friendly, honest, reliable and knowledgeable. The project manager was on top of things and always available for questions and updates. My project was completed as scheduled and a final inspection was done to make sure everything was perfect! I would use them again!

Drake House recently completed a master bath renovation for us. Kyle, Nancy, and the rest of the team were all great to work with. Their design is exactly what we imagined, and they completed everything to our specifications. We really appreciated being able to design everything in their studio - the other firms who gave us quotes were going to take us on ‘field trips’ to Home Depot. All of the crew were great, and kept everything very clean during construction. We would definitely hire Drake House again for future renovations.

We met with several companies to handle our kitchen remodel. What stood out with Drake House was the way they would handle the project. Communication was excellent, the work was done right the first time and working with Kyle and Nancy was EASY! Brendon stayed on top of the job from the beginning and kept us informed of what was going to be done when. All of the workers/subs were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home. We couldn't be more thrilled with our new kitchen!

We had our master bath gutted and rebuilt by Drake House construction, and it came out beautifully! We couldn't be happier with the results. All of their tradespeople did a wonderful job, they were respectful as they came and went, and they cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. Their contract spells out how the design and build process will play out, so we knew exactly what to expect from the beginning. We had some ideas about what we wanted, and Nancy had us upload photos onto a Houzz idea board showing some examples of bathrooms, fixtures and finishes that we like. Based on that, she came up with some beautiful selections to choose from. I fell in love with some chandeliers that didn't fit our budget, and asked Nancy if she could find something with the same look in a lower price range. She delivered!! In addition to renovating our bathroom, Drake House did a mini makeover of our kitchen, cutting down the old breakfast bar on our island to convert it to a one level island, and installing a new tile backsplash. Both rooms feel brand new now. Photos don't do justice, but they are attached. We highly recommend Kyle and Nancy and their team.

Unbelievable communication from Kyle directly as well as from his team. Everyone who worked on the project was incredibly polite and the result was top notch. Not a single thing to do differently. Honestly, pretty amazed considering how busy all contractors are these days trying to manage the volume and supply chain challenges.

Working with Kyle & Nancy Drake was an excellent experience! From the moment we met them we knew that they understood what we were trying to achieve. They turned our house into a home and even better than we could have imagined! Even with the house under construction we were able to handle it because everyone that came to our house was always so polite and respectful. Nancy really understood the style I was going for! Drake House Construction & Design assisted us in transforming our main floor. Nancy and Kyle worked with us to design an open-floor plan. Beforehand our kitchen was small and separated from our family room and dining room. With the design from Drake House Construction & Design, we now have a beautiful open main-floor that allows our family to spend more time together. Not only is our floor plan open, but we were able to get the kitchen of our dreams. Nancy's style and design choices for the finishings of the space truly put our kitchen space over the top. We couldn't be happier with the end result of our renovation.

We talked with Kyle and Nancy Drake two years ago and decided to delay the project at that time. We called back this year and restarted the project. We did go over every detail again to make sure everything looked correct and the quoting and initial design phase was easy and straight forward. The actual design phase where we picked all of the details including cabinets, countertops, colors, etc. was much easier than I expected. They had plenty of options to pick from and the plan was in place in short order. The work started on time and the Drake House team were good communicators. We did have several items we wanted changed or adjusted slightly and the team was quick to respond and work on those action items. The project took slightly longer than the 8 week estimate, but some of these items were due to scheduling issues with inspectors. Ultimately the renovations looks great and we are very happy with the work. It has been about one month since completion and we've had no issues. I would recommend working with Drake House Construction & Design and their team.

Kyle and his team were beyond amazing. His team was always punctual, kind, hard working, and extremely respectful. They finished as quickly as they could and did a phenomenal job. If something didn’t turn out exactly how you wanted Kyle would go above and beyond to make it the way you wanted. I would recommend drake house for any upcoming house project any day!

We went under contract mid-construction on a new Drake House build in Brookhaven Village. Kyle and Nancy did a wonderful job helping navigate the complicated process from build to close; not to mention they hit all of their deadlines during a pandemic! Our family is immensely happy with our new Drake House build. We were looking in the neighborhood for close to a year, and in teaming with Kyle and Nancy realized an incredible product. The bespoke finishes and touches they provided were truly custom-luxury-home level, which not only created a contemporary, yet comfortable end result, but also outpaced the products delivered by other builders working in the neighborhood. We will continue to work with Kyle and Nancy for any future home construction and design needs, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a remodel or new build in the Atlanta area.

Drake House did such a good job on our kitchen remodel and refinishing our hardwood floors! Everything went smoothly from start to finish and we are so happy with all their hard work!!!

This review is long overdue. Nancy and Kyle did a wonderful job transforming our dated kitchen and second bedroom into an open, modern space for entertaining. Process: They came to our home to discuss the changes we were hoping to achieve with the renovation. They took methodical notes during the meeting as well as measurements. We shared pictures we had collected on Houzz for inspiration. Within two weeks, we had computer drawings and a quote. Once signed off, we began collaborating with Nancy using Ideabooks on Houzz to select the finishes. We didn’t step foot in one store or have to take off work to pick out finishes which was amazing. The use of technology made everything easier – from planning to paying. During the project: Our condo was pretty much a full construction zone, but they straightened up as much as possible every day upon leaving. We had delays here and there but that was mainly due to lack of freight elevator availability. Doing renovations in a condominium is no easy task but they handled the challenges without ever having to involve us. That was priceless. It really made our lives so much better not dealing with the logistics. Results: The end results were even better than we envisioned. We had a few punch-list items at the completion of the job, but all were addressed promptly. This is to be expected with a major renovation. We are over six months out from the project completion and absolutely love the space. I highly recommend Drake House – especially for major projects like this one!

We are so glad we hired Kyle and Nancy for our house renovation! We bought our house a year ago, knowing we wanted to redo the kitchen and had some general ideas of what we wanted to do. We met with a few contractors before deciding to go with them. The reasons we picked them were because I liked that Nancy did the design work so I wouldn't have to hire a separate designer and I felt like they best understood my vision for what I wanted the finished product to look like. They were so wonderful to work with! They stuck with the original budget, other than the various things I added on as we went. Nancy did all the design work, along with helping me select new furniture for the kitchen, family room and sunroom. Their crew was polite and hardworking. Kyle was responsive and checked in on the job regularly. We will definitely use them again for any future house projects!

Nancy, Kyle and their team were fantastic to work with. Not only did they have great design ideas and cost-conscious fashion but they started on time and finished much earlier than we anticipated. Their team was respectful of our home and children, showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and overall ran a tight ship. For this main floor and kitchen renovation, we wanted a more conservative/traditional look and they helped us achieve this while offering some more on-trend choices that we are ultimately glad we selected. Any small hurdles or issues were acknowledged and addressed in a very timely manner. I'm confident we will be reaching out on more projects in the near future, thank you!

Kyle and Nancy just completed a kitchen remodeling project for us as well as some updates in other parts of the house. This was in preparation for out putting our house on the market. When we did, we had an offer within 12 hours and a contract in 24 hours - from the second person to visit. We had over a dozen visits and both the realtors and prospective buyers thought the house was a "model home." Thank you Kyle and Nancy for a wonderful job and for all of the help you have been in getting our home ready to sell - and that includes the work you have done for us in the past. It goes to show what quality work can do! Kyle and Nancy are "very high quality" in all they do.

This was our first time to work with Kyle and Nancy, and the first time we have done a full kitchen remodel. They were great to work with and made the process positive for us. They were on budget and on time. But more than that, they were true partners along the way. We looked to them for ideas on design and more, and they were helpful with it all. Also, we enjoyed their team that was at our house daily...it was a consistent group who were always professional and sensitive to the fact that we still had to live there. The end product is literally perfect and the hard work this team put in made it happen and is much appreciated. Kyle & Nancy were thorough, responsive, and affordable. At no point did I feel like I would be surprised by the finished product. Our kitchen/laundry reno perfectly reflects our family's personality - and budget. We researched & interviewed more than a dozen contractors- knowing that we'd be living with this contractor's crew for several week. Not only did they come in within our target budget, their crew was extremely professional. They cleaned up the job site every night, came in on a holiday weekend when things fell behind, and responded to our requests about "the small stuff" extremely quickly.

Kyle and Nancy were excellent to work with for our home renovations. We received several bids for a job that included hardwoods on two floors of the house, semi reno of front foyer area, full reno of master bathroom and then framing in some walls to create rooms in areas that needed to be closed off for an office and bedroom. The Drake House bid was in line with other bids we received and the pricing was within our budget and not overpriced. The big value that you get with The Drake House that I didn't get from my other bids was the expert interior design guidance from Nancy. She was instrumental in helping us to select design elements that were both architecturally appropriate for our style house and also tastefully suited to our preferences, while maintaining the integrity of the modern look we were going for. She had a gentle way of coaching us to consider alternative ideas when we would stray towards a feature that might compromise the modern look we wanted. The project took a little longer than we anticipated, but that was due to a delay with one of the providers I had selected for our vanities, not them. But again, Nancy was super helpful in jumping in with the vendor and trying to come up with solutions to keep the project on schedule. There were no surprise or hidden fees and Kyle was extremely accommodating about tweaks and change orders to the project along the way. We were extremely pleased with the outcome and will use them again without hesitation should the opportunity present itself in the future.

Kyle did a terrific job on our remodel. Job included new kitchen, two new baths, vanity, barn doors and lighting. This was a condo in a high rise location. He finished on budget and even did a few extras things outside the quote. Easy to work with and honest.

Kyle did a beautiful job on our kitchen renovation, which included taking out a wall and refinishing hard wood floors. While the project took a bit longer than expected, he came right in at budget which is the most important part to me!

We have worked with Kyle and his crews for a number of years and in various projects. They have completely renovated two bathrooms and a bedroom. They also completely replaced windows, siding and doors throughout our home and painted the exterior. They also replaced our decks (two decks, upper and lower). The work is excellent. Kyle has provided great guidance and suggestions in planning and carrying out the projects. The materials and workmanship are all first rate. The cost for each project has been very reasonable and the work was completed in a timely and efficient manner, being sensitive to our day to day living in the house during the projects. I have used Kyle for many projects over the years. He has helped redo my basement after a flood, replaced all my rotting window and door molding due to rot, and tiled my kitchen and bath. He has great customer service and his prices have always been below other estimates. He is very knowledgeable with a wide range of experience. Together with Nancy's design aesthetic, they are quite the dynamic duo! I give them my highest recommendation. I will only use them for all of my future projects.

I am real estate professional with 16 years’ experience in the field. Kyle has saved the day for me on many home inspections. Repairs ranged from HVAC, electric, plumbing, structural and general maintenance items. On one job Kyle installed steel beams and columns to shore up my foundation. This was a very challenging job since there was not a lot of access in this 100-year-old home. He was able to conceal them in the walls and open the space, which allowed me to finish the basement. I also refer him to clients for full remodels of kitchens, baths, floor plan changes, etc. He provides service from small to big jobs. I am an architect-turned-Realtor, so I have a lot of experience working with many different contractors over the years. I can definitively say that Kyle & Nancy are fantastic. They have done two large renovation projects for me on two different homes - both involved moving walls, full kitchen & bath guts, and new flooring/paint/fixtures/trim. In addition, they have worked on several smaller projects in our rental properties. In every instance their work was impeccable and prices competitive. As an architect, I admit that I am super-picky and probably a little overbearing as a client. =) Kyle and his team were incredibly professional and so pleasant to work with. The only snafu we have ever had in the multiple projects he has done for me was when his granite guy (who he no longer uses) did not cut the slab correctly for our kitchen. It was a very expensive slab and I was visibly upset; without blinking an eye, Kyle immediately made it right and had a brand new slab brought in and re-cut at no cost to me. I am the first to admit that everyone makes a mistake every once in a while - what is important is how you fix it when you do. The way Kyle handled that situation spoke volumes about Kyle and his integrity, which is so often missing in this industry, and which is why he will always be my go-to contractor. In addition to the projects I have hired Kyle for, I have also recommended him out to literally dozens of clients for everything from a small bath remodel to a second story addition which more than doubled the square footage of the home. On every count, my clients have been thrilled with his work and his prices. Nancy brings a fabulous and discerning eye to the project, she is an immensely talented designer and has so many great ideas. It is so wonderful to work with a contractor that has a designer on his team, it really ups the value you are getting to a level most contractors cannot provide. Plus she is a joy to work with!

I have used Kyle Drake and his teams for many projects - adding a closet to a room, new roof, gutters, small projects, etc. They have always done the projects with excellence, details and very efficiently. I would hire them for anything!

We hired Drake House for an extensive home renovation in fall 2015. We completely gutted and replaced everything in the kitchen (cabinets, countertop, backsplash, lighting, appliances), including rearranging the layout and removing walls to open it up to the rest of the living area. We also replaced a sliding glass door with french doors, added a small wooden deck off the back door, replaced all the windows, replumbed the entire house, replaced the HVAC and hot water heater, replaced the roof, and replaced paneling in our den with drywall. I cannot say enough good things about Kyle, Miguel, and the rest of his guys. They were easy to work with, captured my vision for our home, and good at communicating any delays and potential price adjustments. Every worker I encountered was respectful and diligent. I never saw them slacking off on the job, even when the boss wasn't around. The workmanship was of the highest quality. I would absolutely hire Kyle again for any other projects I needed.
