My wife and I worked with Kieran and the Broad Oaks team on a downstairs remodel that included our kitchen, family room, laundry, and powder bathroom. I recommend Kieran and his team without exception and they will be our go to team for any future projects. Kieran is an outstanding communicator and his team does top quality work that they stand behind. Here are a few highlight areas: Budget -- The initial quote from Kieran came in higher than we had anticipated, but he worked with us on where we could cut some scope and then he kept the project closely aligned to that budget. When work changes invariably came up, he reviewed the impact on costs with us before proceeding and helped us with alternative considerations to reduce costs where possible. Schedule -- My wife and I were expecting our first baby at the end of May so we had a strong incentive to get the project done on time. These remodeling projects often run into delays and challenges that push dates back, but Kieran somehow managed to get the project done just as our son was born. He kept us informed along the way on expectations so we were able to make plans accordingly and have backups in place just in case the project didn't finish on time. He also didn't over promise on any specifics, often giving us a run down of what needed to get done, which subcontractors would be coming in over the week, and where things might get delayed. Work quality -- Kieran's team did an awesome job creating a beautiful space for us and the workmanship was top notch. We found very few issues and any minor things we spotted were immediately addressed. Kieran has a trusted group of subs who do excellent work and are all highly professional and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Kieran and his entire team, from their quality of work to their genuine friendliness and top notch communication. Highly recommend!

Kieran and his team worked on several exterior projects on our house, including installing new cable railings and supports for our deck, replacing a small entryway deck and designing/building an outdoor shower. This was our first major contracting project as new homeowners - Kieran was fantastic to work with. Besides great communication, a solid team, and top-notch problem solving skills, it felt like Kieran internalized the projects as if he was working on his own house. He also took our feedback well whenever we had an idea or change that we wanted to make. On top of all of that, he has a high bar for quality and wants to get the job done right. Wet bar and plumbing demo

I recently had the pleasure of working with Broad Oaks Construction to remove a wet bar and all associated parts. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Kieran and team were incredibly timely - completing the job within a week of our initial exchange. As anyone who has ever undertaken a home improvement project knows, it's not uncommon for costs to spiral out of control. But Kieran was transparent about price breakout from the outset, and stuck to it. This gave me peace of mind and made the whole process much less stressful. Whether I had a question or concern, they were always just a phone call away. Their responsiveness and professionalism made me feel like I was in good hands throughout the entire process. Overall, I would highly recommend Broad Oaks construction to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled general contractor. They exceeded my expectations in every way, and I couldn't be happier with the end result.

We worked with Kieran and team for our bathroom remodel and some other general work on our Victorian and he exceeded expectations on all fronts. He and his team were so reliable, communicative, and thorough. The team took extra care to keep the site clean and even rushed back when we had a leak (unrelated to their work). Kieran and his team are top notch professionals and if you are wondering who you should hire, stop here and hire Broad Oaks Construction. Kieran worked with me and my architect to completely redo my primary bathroom down to the studs. We were able to capture extra space, add a motorized skylight and make the bathroom feel twice as big. He is comfortable working with all budgets and has worked with high-end designers in San Francisco, so he was able to bring that knowledge to my project even though I did not hire a designer myself. My bathroom including a custom white oak floating vanity with a marble top, white Fireclay tile throughout the shower, and custom mirrors with mounted lights. He is flexible, extremely responsive and cares about the details as much as I do. His crew is also kind, clean and considerate. If you hire Kieran you won’t be disappointed.

From the moment we met Kieran, he always made us feel supported and taken care of. It was our first time remodeling anything and he was extremely communicative and always available for questions, comments, or feedback. It is very obvious that he is as passionate about your project as you are, and his fine attention to detail will ensure nothing goes unnoticed. We started by not really having a great vision of how to make what we wanted a reality, and he came in with ideas, helped us source materials, and always had our best interests in mind. He was able to advise timelines to ensure our project would continue moving ahead, despite the supply chain issues that everyone faces. He also provided ample documentation and spreadsheets to help us keep track of what we needed, what we had, and to ensure that we were keeping on budget. He is extremely personable, as is his whole team of subcontractors. If we had any concerns or issues, we were able to easily address them and he handled them immediately. We still can’t believe how well our vision became a reality and can confidently say Kieran was a catalyst to make that happen. We would recommend Kieran to any and all of our family and friends and we plan on working with him on future projects of our own!

Broad Oaks redid a bathroom and kitchen for us. Kieran was great with communication and responsive if we needed to get in contact with him. We always knew what was happening, when it would happen, and how long it would take, and all with a minimum of downtime. Everything went so smoothly and we were happy with the results.
