Outstanding Experience with Lesley Ray Design and Team! :) I continuously refer Lesley Ray to my client’s for projects both big and small, and continue to be impressed! Because of her commercial background, her technical drawings and skills go above and beyond many other designers. Her drawings are thorough, detailed, and give the contractor everything they need to provide accurate pricing for the client. She is able to anticipate issues ahead of time and works closely with the entire team throughout construction to make sure the design is being built correctly. She keeps team members informed and updated throughout construction to make sure everyone is consistently on the same page and on schedule. Things always come up during construction. Lesley is solution-oriented and makes sure to proactively communicate any issues and present solutions to maintain expectations. Lesley is very easy to work with; she’s responsive, communicative, and does a great job of blending her expertise and creative vision with the client’s specific desires and needs. Lesley Ray designed our kitchen and bathrooms for a major renovation of our condominium. I have accessibility issues and she did an amazing job incorporating them seamlessly into all of her plans. From widening door frames, choosing appropriate heights for counters and cabinets, and cabinet and counter design she tied everything together in a very unique way. Lesley sees the total picture and every design decision has a reason that adds to the overall coherence of the space. For example, she recommended a walnut counter in our kitchen and tied that to walnut mirror frames in our bathrooms. This added to the unity of her design and warmed up our space. She also recommended panels at the end of our peninsula under the counter which provided a finishing touch. This decision made an important visual statement and underscores the detail and sharp eye that she provides. I highly recommend Lesley Ray Design. In addition to her design expertise, she is extremely easy and stress-free to work with.
