Kim and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. Their communication, vision, and all around friendliness made it a seamless transition from start to the finishing touches.

We hired Kim to help mediate between my wife and me while picking out finishes on our new house. I have to say, "best money ever spent", hands down. Kim and her team were great to work with over the course of 18+ months during construction. Kim was at every Kitchen, Bathroom, Lighting, Flooring and Tile design center we visited to assist with design choices. She had a great way of pointing us in the right direction of how everything should flow throughout the house. Without her, I think our house would be about 10 different styles and nothing would match. After getting thru all the design for the new house, we hired her for all the furnishings. Again, it was worth every penny. Every day I come home I'm blown away on how well everything looks and how functional everything is. We don't have a room that is just for looks, all the furniture is comfortable and usable. She did such a great job with our personal house that I hired her for an overhaul of my commercial office. Again, she hit it out of the park. Kim and her team get my highest recommendation. Hire her, she is great to work with.

Kim Layne designed the interior of a beautiful house on S. Logan whose owner popped the top to expand the square footage. Fortunately for the owner, Kim was hired early on to select every detail of the home, from flooring to tile to furnishings. Wow. Double wow. Every detail was perfect, just perfect. From the lighting to the cabinetry handles, to the bathroom tile (oversize subway tile in a lovely shiny gray) to the den's elegant chairs, table and artwork, Kim selected high quality, beautiful furnishings that truly complimented and highlighted the home's "good bones".

Kim has worked on several projects for us including a kitchen remodel, furnishings and most recently beautifully designing and executing a finished basement. She listens to her clients and easily adapts to their taste and style. She pays particular attention to detail. We enjoy the contemporary/modern look and she has helped us with many choices to keep it classy and timeless while giving the look we desire. She is also mindful of budget and getting the job done in a timely fashion.

Kim Layne has helped us renovate and decorate 2 homes. She is a delightful person and consummate professional. Kim developed great relationships with 2 different contractors, 1 architect and numerous subcontractors. She is Creative, Collaborative and budget conscious. Ultimately, she helped to create a home that is uniquely "us."

Kim developed a creative, beautiful and unique design concept for my living and dining rooms. She is currently working on a design plan for a studio guest room in my home, and I will continue to work with her over the next years to design a remodel of our kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. She is a talented professional – highly knowledgeable, reliable and punctual, and is very personable and energetic. She spends whatever time necessary to ensure understanding of my needs, likes and dislikes so that her design reflects my style and personality. She utilizes (and manages) the individuals and teams of highly qualified and trust worthy professionals required to turn her design plan into reality.
