Kippie Leland is your Nashville 5-Year Best of Houzz award winning designer with a focus full-scale residential interior design projects including furniture and draperies. Leland Interiors & Leland Antiques were founded in 1997, the successors to Ted Leland, Inc. founded in 1967. The award winning Leland interior design firms based in Nashville, Tennessee, have built a reputation for high-end residential projects coast to coast. The process of conception through installation in your home begins with Kippie closely listening to your dreams and scope of design project needs as she skillfully interprets your living space desires into a uniquely creative and functional place to live. Leland Interiors, LLC is also a direct importer of antiques for over thirty years. Our furniture and room design team is able to advise you with furniture, decor and antique purchase and placement within your design project to incorporate old and new pieces with construction design for a soft, time worn and quality appearance. Kippie Leland A.S.I.D., owner/designer of Leland Interiors, received her interior design degree in 1980 and is a registered designer with the state of Tennessee. She worked with her father Ted Leland from 1982 until his retirement in 1997. She describes her personal style as “A collected look using pieces softened by age, beautiful fabrics, and quality design.”

Bella Tucker Decorative Finishes

I worked with Kippie on the Southern Living Idea House in Nashville. Not only did she have great style and amazing eye for space planning, she was also the first designer in the house to deliver a complete and polished room. She is very organized and has it together. She brought in an antique wall sized clock that was the hit of the space. It was amazing, unique and one of a kind. I also follow Kippie on Houzz and she always posts amazing rooms. As the daughter of the deceased Eloise O’More founder of the O’More College of Design in Franklin Tennessee, I have seen the work of many interior designers. Kippie served on the Board of Trust of the Tennessee Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers at which time I was administrator of the Chapter. Kippie is professional, knowledgeable and experienced. As important, she is very conscientious about keeping within her client’s budget and giving them an environment in which they will long enjoy. Kippie’s projects range from very small to huge spaces, some of which have been published in magazines and newspapers. She is highly respected among her peers and I consider her as one of the best interior designers I have known.

Kippie Leland of Leland Interiors has provided ongoing consultation through numerous remodeling projects on our home of 20+ years. During our most recent project, which included gutting and expanding our kitchen, den and dining room, her counsel was invaluable. She worked well with our contractor and our family to make sure that each decision was well thought out and contributed to the overall design and livability of the project. From paint colors, finishes, fixtures, materials, fabrics and furniture placement, Kippie's touch is visible throughout our lovely home. And because Kippie listens to the client and incorporates their style and preferences in her design, I feel like our touch is visible as well. We could not be more pleased.

Kippie Leland is an awesome designer. When my husband and I married 5 years ago, we combined 4 bedroom and 5 bedroom houses into our new home. Kippie measured and photographed all our furniture, told us what to sell/give away, and developed a furniture plan for our new home. Then she helped us make all the other choices--paint colors, fabrics, and any new pieces we needed to add. One of the best things about working with Kippie is that each decision is a collaboration. We never feel we are living with Kippie's choices but with our own. I make all my decisions now after consulting with Kippie. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kippie to all my friends. Barbara Moss

I have engaged Leland Interiors several times over the last 15 years. Kippie did a fabulous job on the interior finishes, paint colors and window treatments for the home of the Director of University School of Nashville. As there were numerous stakeholders and a limited budget this was quite an achievement. I also had Kippie help me when I renovated my upstairs master suite and bathroom. She helped me select fabulous bathroom tile and designed a shower that is the envy of all our visitors. I solely relied on her excellent understanding of colors for my walls and for the carpet. Kippie listens to her clients, takes into account budget constraints and is patient during the entire process. Her outcomes are always superb. JoAnn Tumey

Kippie is great to work with and very able too incorporate client ideas wilth her own. Very creative but practical also. She was flexible re letting me do some of the leg work, scaling back ideas to keep within my budget.She also worked well with my contractor whom I had known for over 20 years She was very helpful in navigating disagreements that were hard for me because of ;og historty. My kitchen is beautiful!!!
