JL Exterior Construction & Remodeling

I've known Lance for over 15 years and he's done major roof and siding jobs for me. I've also referred him to others who have been thrilled with his work. His costs were always fair and his crews were always courteous, prompt and kept things clean and organized. It's been enough time since Lance did these jobs that I know his work stands the test of time.

We have used JL Exteriors for several projects on our house and have had great results with Lance and his team. Two of of the biggest projects included installation of new vinyl siding and, most recently, replacing a deck on our house. Both of these projects we done very professionally and with good workmanship. The cedar deck exceeded our expectations. Lance gave us ideas and recommendations which we agreed upon that resulted in a wonderful new deck. His construction crew was friendly and costumer-service minded in making sure that we were satisfied with their work. We will definitely have Lance and JL Exteriors do our next project.

Over the last 2 years I have used Lance at JL construction for 3 separate projects including a new covered deck, entire house siding with window wraps, and recent hail damage repair. Each project was completed on time and to the quoted estimate. The site project teams were very professional and showed great respect for my property, landscaping and lawn. JL Exteriors did a high-quality job for us at a competitive price. They had good suggestions for helping us work with our insurance carrier, and good ideas for our repairs. The crew is efficient, hard-working and friendly. The only thing that could have been better is the turnaround time between when we contracted with them and when the job was started. It took quite a while before they could complete the project due to the large number of projects they had ahead of ours.

We are very pleased with our new composite deck. Our old wood deck was removed and the square footage expanded over what we had. It took some engineering on JL's part because we relocated the steps and were somewhat constrained by the setback requirement on our lot line. JL's carpenter was very precise in his work. Lance followed up on any concerns that we brought to his attention.

Lance and his crew do a great job. They were on schedule as promised and always had great communication. I would definitely recommend them.

Lance has an amazing business. He treats customers like friends and family. We had our deck redone about 3 years ago, and nothing but professionalism throughout the process. We love our deck, and have referred Lance and his company to many friends.

We had basement windows replaced. The bid came in timely and the word was done well and in a timely manner. We were well informed as to what they were going to do and how long it would take. They also cleaned up after themselves.

Lance recently completed some exterior updates to our home. From the beginning Lance was great to work with. Under the pressure of tight timelines and having an out of town jobsite, Lance came through flawlessly. Lance is what you want in a contractor: great communication, honest, reliable and stands behind his work. I have had no reservations about recommending Lance and JL on other projects.

We hired JL Exteriors to design and build the deck and screened in porch of our dreams. We basically lived out in the screen porch this summer and hosted many parties on the big deck. It is beautiful and we get many compliments on it. Lance listened carefully to our requests and was willing to go the extra mile to get even the smallest details right.
