I hired LandCrafters to redesign my sloped front yard, which has sandy soil, full sun exposure, and required low-maintenance plantings. These are challenging conditions, but I made my requests clear from the beginning. Two years later, the results have been disappointing. The yard now requires constant weeding, and many of the plants recommended and installed have either died or declined significantly. Of the 11 shrubs planted, 3 are already dead, and 4 more are struggling or smaller than when planted. Of the 11 decorative fescues, only 6 still survive, some barely. Only one plant has grown enough to provide meaningful coverage against weeds. Despite investing several thousand dollars, my yard is already in need of another costly makeover. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend their services.

Working with Landcrafters was an absolute dream. David Guthry was our landscape designer and made every aspect of our vision a reality, while also helping us hone in on what was important to us. Throughout the year-long process, Dave and his team demonstrated professional, expert level execution of every aspect of the project, and always provided us with honest and trustworthy feedback which helped us make the best and most informed decisions for our investment. We have been more than pleased with our experience with LandCrafters for the design and build of our patio and driveway. David Guthery, our Landscape Designer is a great listener, very talented and wonderful to work with. He was very responsive in all aspects of the job and we really appreciated his careful consideration of our needs and goals for our project. His knowledge and experience were evident throughout the process and we were equally pleased with the quality workmanship by the crew and guidance from our foreman, Eric. Additionally, they were on time and on budget and their communication with each other and us was fantastic. We will definitely use them again.

Landcrafters completely transformed the neglected, overgrown plot in our backyard. When we moved into this house earlier in the year we envisioned a usable space that incorporated naturalistic materials & mostly native plants - an urban oasis. They really delivered! We will enjoy this space for years to come and it's going to be so much fun to watch it transform from season to season. David Guthrey listened to our ideas & goals then presented us with creative & practical designs. The first proposals were quite a bit above our ideal budget, but he worked with us to prioritize and scale back the final plan - we also saved by doing a few tasks ourselves. In the end we were very satisfied with the scope of the project. The installation crew was hardworking, thorough & professional. Would definitely hire them again.

We hired LandCrafters to do a complete overhaul of our backyard. We had a tiny brick patio and a backyard that was full of tiny hills and valleys. We were also interested in putting a barrier around our air conditioning units and replacing our cement front steps. They were very easy to work with throughout the design and implementation phases. Our design took all of our ideas into consideration, while also challenging us to consider some options we hadn't considered, like a tree in our backyard. Once construction began, we found all of the workers to be friendly, efficient, and hard-working. We also were really impressed with everyone's attention to detail, from cleaning up the job site each day to making sure every brick cut and level was perfect. We would absolutely hire LandCrafters again to work on future landscaping projects!

LandCrafters did a phenomenal job on our project. This project included installation of bluestone patio, brick sidewalk, grading, tree planting, planting bed construction, and fieldstone wall construction. The project was completed on time and the budget was accurate. The gentlemen that performed the work were diligent and precise.

We hired LandCrafters to design and install new landscaping in our two tiered yard. Andrew had a beautiful vision and worked within our budget. The project started when expected, with Mike and Andrew on site. The installers worked efficiently and did a fantastic job (the hardscape is amazing). When some potential changes came up Andrew contacted us and was upfront with our options. The entire process, from initial meeting to completion, was seamless and easy. We love our patio, out-cropping retaining wall/steps and new plants. We would highly recommend LandCrafters!

LandCrafters was hired to landscape our back, side, and front yards following the building of a new garage. This included removal of existing trees/plantings, soil prep, and new plantings. They also helped with a stone wall alongside our driveway, stone steps and landscape lighting. David Guthrey, landscape designer, was so helpful. His knowledge and experience were obvious from our first meeting. The attention to detail and plant recommendations for our specific location on the lake were spot on. The crew who did the install also far exceeded expections.

We really appreciated Dave's design, suggestions, communication, and management. We were also very happy with the work crew. They were on time each day, hard workers, friendly, and kept the work area safe and clean. Most importantly, they did good, detailed oriented work.
