We bought an older home in need of extensive remodeling. Laura was very receptive to our vision and helped us pick out colors we love throughout the whole house. We plan to use Laura in the future for our kitchen remodel and finishing the basement. Highly recommended.

Spaces Interiors is everything from creative and organized to professional and timely. Laura worked with me on my new home from the start of construction to completion. I had an idea of what I wanted but knew I couldn't put it all together to flow and coordinate. Throughout the project, I felt comfortable communicating my likes and dislikes with Laura without feeling like I was making a right or wrong choice. Laura is an excellent listener and she gave me plenty of ideas to choose from. I continue to work with Spaces as I complete the finishing touches on my home. We recently finished our basement. I met Laura Hammond of Spaces Interiors/Exteriors through our general contractor; he often uses her design expertise when bidding and developing larger projects. We were so impressed with the work she did with our contractor to develop a plan for the overall space that we decided to hire her on our own to help the finishing details. She was fantastic to work with. The basement very much reflects my taste but she helped me make it look cohesive by helping me pick paint colors, tile, grout, lighting, etc., to pull it all together. For instance, I picked out the stacked stone that is behind our bar as well as the marble countertop. She designed the rustic floating shelves and helped me choose cabinet and wall colors, tile, and grout to enhance and tie it all together. Her expertise and advice was invaluable when picking our finishing details such doors, hardware, lighting, etc. She is extremely responsive and more than once she stopped by my house for just a few minutes to validate a design choice or make a recommendation for something else. This was particularly important when my contractor needed a quick decision on something. Laura was extremely aware of our budget. We paid her by the hour and only spent about $300-$400 on her services. While the overall basement budget was about $40,000, we did not have a lot of extra room in the budget to hire her for "full-time" design expertise for the entire project. She was willing to work with us on an hourly basis and did a fantastic job of respecting our budget and helping us make the best choices within that budget. I was so happy with the service she provided that I also hired her to help me pick paint colors for the remainder of my house (which is mostly builder's beige). I strongly recommend Laura Hammond and Spaces Interiors/Exteriors. She has great design instincts and expertise. She works well with with our contractor and his subs and did an excellent job of ensuring our basement reflects our taste and needs. We are extremely happy with the service she provided and have no hesitation about hiring her in the future.

Laura has been amazing to work with. She truly listens to your needs and makes it so easy to work with her. She has pushed me out of my comfort zone with a couple of our rooms and the end result has been fabulous! I'm so happy I listened to her suggestions. Decorating a home with three young children in mind can be challenging, but Laura has helped make our home beautiful, comfortable and functional!

After doing an exhausting update moving from golden oak to painted wood, I had no energy or mindset to pull it altogether. Laura was able to take what I had started and make it come together in a way that suited my personality and lifestyle. She understands a "busy" family life and was able to transform our main floor into a cohesive warm, inviting space that is not only beautiful but very livable. We love it!

Laura helped me with the overall design of our basement remodel. She was instumental with assisting me on picking out paint colors and the daunting task of choosing out a backsplash to go with the granite countertops in the basement kitchen. I wanted something that would be elegant and modern, yet not to the point we would want to change things in a few years. I could not be more happy with the way it turned out and would hire her again for any future project, small or large!

Remodel of a bedroom for a teenager. We hired Laura and her company from recommendations from other customers and she really lived up to that reputation. She was a great listener when we talked about our "idea" at the time. She took our idea and made it into a dream! Our daughter was turning 12 and still had the same room that she had when she was a little girl. For her birthday, we gave her a room makeover. Laura hit the nail on the head. We had a few consultations and then she kept in touch during the whole process. She has great contractors working with her who also did a fabulous job. In one day, the team came in a transformed her bedroom into a teenager's room. The emotions were so high when the room was "revealed" - many tears of joy and awe and at how well she transformed our idea into reality. She took our needs - a place for reading, room for cousin's or friends to sleepover, comforting/calming palette and of course some glam! Laura really paid attention to all the details that I would never of thought of. She was priced right and did an amazing job of transforming our Space!
