We used Larry's Home Designs for our multiple addition home renovation. We are very impressed with his work. The one thing that stood out the most with Larry is that he worked within our budget, while still providing an amazing outcome! Larry is very easy to communicate with. We continue to recommend Larry! We finally decided it was the right time to build our "dream cabin" and after searching for just the right firm, we found Larry's Home Designs. What drew us to him was the fact that not only did he have experience designing log cabins but traditional cabins as well. We had cut our own timber to use for our beams, trusses and flooring but couldn't seem to find someone that would work with us to use our own materials and help us design what we wanted. Larry is who helped us pull all this together. We now have our plan designed all the way down to the number of beams we need and their size, plus the engineering it takes for load bearing walls, etc., all thanks to the wonderful help of this firm. We worked out numerous changes and it came out just as we had hoped. We highly recommend him! He truly cares about his clients! We will start our cabin in the spring/2015

Larry was wonderful to work with. We came to him with a rough design and he turned it into something that could actually become a house. We made several changes through the process and he was able to respond quickly. We have had a wonderful experience in the planning stage, now we start the building process.

We have utilized Larry's Home Designs for all of our custom home and construction projects since 2005. He is very knowledgeable with building codes and designs. He really listens to what the customer wants and then works to make it a reality.

I had some prliminary drawings that needed a professional touch to take them to the blueprint level that I needed to get a permit to build my new home. Larry did so in record time and well within my budget. I did it all through the mail and email. After reviewing his website I took a chance that he was the right man for the job. I would say that was an understatement as his professionalism was by far the best I could imagine.

We spent a lot of time trying to decide what we wanted to do when it came to designing our new home. There were literally thousands of off-the-shelf plans we could go with, but none of them really felt "right". We decided that the only way to truly get our dream home was to design it ourselves. Talk about a stressful proposition! Where do we start? What about building codes, snow loads, or how do we know that we aren't designing that staircase to run into the ceiling (I actually did this)?? Enter Larry! All I did was send him my rough sketches on some graph paper. Larry transformed our ideas into a beautiful, functional, and most of all legal and building-code safe home. He held our hand the entire way, working with local building officials and our structural engineer to make sure that our home not only fit our vision but also was safe for our family. We didn't have to stress about any of the technical details - Larry handled that for us. He was always available to take our calls and answer questions. He always kept us updated by email as to our progress. Our plans were delivered on time, on budget, and exactly what we were looking for. If I had an opportunity to ever recommend Larry's Home Designs to a friend or family member, I would do so without hesitation.

As a contractor, I have always been impressed by Larry's upbeat, positive attitude. He is very knowledgeable on all design aspects. I also like how, when I'm out on the road or on the job, I can simply call with changes on a project, and in a timely manner I get an email back with everything we talked about already drawn up!

I found this company through the internet, even though we are in different states he was able to help me out with an architectural problem, I have used him three times now and he has supplied drawings and engineer stamps in a timely matter that I could not get in my own state, I will continue to use Larry's Home Design any chance I can.

Commented: Help with House Plans Please!I think there will be more houses designed for wheelchair accessibility in the very near future. We are probably just seeing the tip of the iceberg due to it being less expensive to get nursing care ...
