Leah is amazing! She did a fantastic job guiding us through our remodel process and helping us pick our finishes and materials. We were pretty picky and pestered her with lots of questions; she was patient, professional, and helped us make the perfect home according to our taste and her experience! In the early stages, she even recommended a few changes to the floor plan that turned out really nice. She prepared drawings that our installers relied on so that specifications were clearly communicated, and when things weren't quite right with the installation, Leah was there every step of the way to help us figure out how to make it right. We had never done a major construction project before and didn't know what to expect. She was an excellent third party opinion on various issues that came up through the project with our contractor. Through her, we got to understand what was normal and what was not. She didn't force us to use her recommended installers and vendors. but here's a bit of advice: I would highly recommend using them anyway. She very much trusts the people she recommends and things will go very smoothly (high quality and fast) if you use them.

We absolutely recommend Leah Hendrix! We hired Leah to help with a remodel project on our newly purchased home in Bend, Oregon. From the initial phone call, she was presented a professional and easy-going demeanor and offered both creative advice and scheduling expertise to meet our tight 6-month timeline. Leah is honest and very easy to work with on a project. Working with Cascade Design Center, Leah was our main point of contact on the overall scheduling of trades and she managed the project with great precision. Initial budgets and timelines were presented in a timely manner and revisions were communicated in the same way. Throughout the project, we had every confidence that Leah was working everyone to meet our timeline and to accommodate our design requests. Our overall remodel consisted of creating a great room from several smaller/traditional spaces and creating two en-suites from a traditional Jack-and-Jill shared bedroom/bathroom. Leah had great vision - pointing out where we could remove walls while still maintaining the integrity of the home. The bathroom project as quite a puzzle, but the end result provides us with two en-suite guest rooms with elegant/usable stand-up showers. Leah is creative with her design problem-solving -- even offering a unique solution to providing our primary bedroom with built-in shelves that would act as bedside tables. We did not have a lot of material preferences in mind when we began the project, and this required Leah to listen to our overall design preferences/styles and then offer a variety of suggestions that both met our tastes but also fit the overall design and feel of the house. Choices were presented with budget in mind but where needed, she was great an encouraging us to explore other options. She helped us with flooring (hardwood/carpet/tile), paint color, kitchen counters and bathroom fixture selections. In addition, we requested her advice on lighting fixtures and great room furnishings. The end result is stunning and incredibly cohesive. Thanks to Leah, there is a story to tell with our new home and it is beautiful.

Leah oversaw our house remodel - new flooring, bathrooms, kitchen, and some structural changes. She helped orchestrate not just the aesthetics and materials selection in the direction of our pictures/ideas, but also all the project management and work with contractors. Leah is kind, honest, organized, flexible, and great to work with. Anytime there was an issue, which always happened, I felt like we quickly identified it and worked toward creative solutions. She paid close attention to our timeframe and budget, and we didn't have any surprises. If we do any other projects in the Bend area, we'll work with Leah.

We really loved working with Leah. We're new to Bend and decided to remodel our home as well as furnish it with Leah's help. She has amazing ideas and great taste for our home style. Wow, Leah! We planned a kitchen remodel/update for years. Interviewed several designers and contractors along the way. None were quite right. Then we were referred to Leah Hendrix. She took the bull by the horn and we couldn't be happier with the results. This is what makes Leah so great: 1) She listened to us, offered her expert advice and made design decisions easy for us. Rather than offering a wide variety of suggestions (that would have confused us and wasted our time) she narrowed it down to only few that were perfect and according to our wishes. My husband and I are extremely busy and didn't have time to run all over town picking up samples or looking at numerous design books. We really appreciated her focus, expertise and that she came up with wonderful ideas that we wouldn't have otherwise considered. 2) She ordered all of the materials, organized all of the contractors, quickly took care of challenges as they naturally occurred. This was during the busy Summer contractor building season and I doubt that we would even have gotten any contractors to return our calls. She had the connections and we were the beneficiaries. 3) She was quick to respond to ALL of our calls, texts and emails. Though we know how busy she is, Leah made us and our small project (compared to the large ones she typically does) feel like her only client. 4) Her professionalism scores a 10. My husband and I do not trust service providers easily. We quickly grew to trust Leah. Also, we easily see through frauds. Leah is the real thing. Top notch in reputation, knowledge, well respected expert in her field. 5) Last but certainly not least, she held true to her original cost estimate. Several items came up during the remodel that we thought would increase the final cost, but it did not. I would highly recommend Leah Hendrix for any design project, large or small. She's brilliant, talented, creative, fun, has fabulous ideas and follow through and most of all, she listens!

Moving to a new home and a new town is stressful. Add to it buying new furniture for the shared living spaces, and it gets even more stressful. My husband and I worked with Leah remotely for 4 months. Her strengths are: communicative, direct with an eye for modern/warm design and budget know how. We had a budget and Leah came in below that budget with quality items. Most of our furniture was delivered within the first 2 weeks of our move. And we love the outcome. Ms. Hendrix was our interior decorator for our new home. She was involved from the inception of our project and based on the advanced information we provided her she had put together numerous options that we could select from in terms of materials, colors, textures etc. We were immediately impressed and pleased with how she understood our interests and brought options for us to review that reflected her understanding of our tastes and desires. Leah is very positive and a pleasure to work with. Leah assisted us with most major aspects of the design of our home including plumbing, lighting, flooring, window coverings, colors, textures, furniture selection and hardware. We were very pleased with every aspect of her consultation. She is very perceptive and professional in all aspects of the job. We highly recommend her.

Leah designed everything in our new house. We appreciated the way that she got to know our taste quickly and provided a limited number of options to us so that we were not overwhelmed. She was very knowledgeable about the products and provided honest answers to our questions. She provided many suggestions that we would not have thought of not only in the building materials but also furniture and other home accessories. All of the work was completed within the timeline and budget. Very happy with the completed work.

Leah Hendrix worked with us and our architect from the start of the building of our custom home. She redesigned our kitchen making it much more efficient. She assisted us in selecting plumbing and lighting fixtures and worked with the builder to make each space what we wanted. She understood our desires and translated it to a beautiful custom home. She is excellent in selecting items that stayed within our budget. She also advised where we could find items within our price range (remnant granite) to achieve a high end product at a reasonable price. Leah made the multitude of decisions so much easier by selecting several options within our budget that match our taste and budget. Our home is almost complete and it's beautiful!
