I had the privilege of working with Lisa in remodeling our 1920s DC rowhome kitchen. From the very first consultation, it was clear that Lisa was extraordinarily detail oriented and adept at foreseeing and mitigating future obstacles. As a result, the structural work and architectural drawings were fantastic and allowed our contractor to complete the job on time and just as we had envisioned. Lisa also put together our Ikea cabinet order, which is no small task. I am certain that it saved us more than a few trips to Ikea to hammer it out there. I highly recommend Lisa--you won't be disappointed by her professionalism, ideas, and quick responses!

I've worked with Lisa on project on my apartment last month. she helped me to have a great design and making a small area useful . Excellent design. Also, Lisa was able to picked all items that we have agreed to get and brought them to the apartment. Working with Lisa was easy and reassuring. Lisa is readily available by email, phone and text, and responsive. She helped narrow our priorities and options. Her color choices for paint and flooring were spot on and she brought creative ideas for tiling that we would never have identified. She assisted with directing the work of the contractor, especially when we ran into some problems. We had to shift gears mid-bathroom renovation when it became clear the oversized bath tub simply didn't belong in the small space we had. Lisa reworked the drawings at no cost to direct installation instead of a walk-in with glass partition which was the more appropriate choice for the space.

I can't say enough good things about working with Lisa. She helped us with the design and finishes for our kitchen remodel and an adjacent sunroom. The end result is absolutely lovely. Lisa is a great listener. She was able to provide me with ideas that matched our vision for the space. She is very reachable -- always providing quick responses to emails and calls (which was extremely helpful during the remodeling process). Lisa has a great eye and pays attention to detail. At each point in the process she was able to provide me a variety of design options at different price points. Lastly, Lisa came in right on budget. In short, Lisa is friendly, easy to work with, and has a great eye for style. We look forward to working with her on future projects. Lisa Garcia Architecture + Interior Design was the perfect choice! I recently bought a condo that was in need of a complete remodel. Lisa was quick to respond to my inquiry and within days we had everything picked out from flooring to paint colors that would meet both my budget and aesthetic needs. I really had no idea where to start with color schemes for the walls and floors, nor any knowledge about hardwood flooring. She advised me on the different types of wood flooring and the options that would meet my budget. Based on the flooring options I chose and type of natural light in the condo, she quickly provided paint color samples for the walls. The condo is now complete with Brazilian Koa hardwood floors, white trim and pale blue walls. It's beautiful and I couldbt be any happier. Thanks Lisa!

Lisa was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is very knowledgable and is able to offer multiple solutions to problems. Lisa was quick, responsive, and clear with ideas - she provided us with guidelines and checklists which helped us in purchasing materials on our own. When we were stuck, Lisa always had a suggestion!
