LIV Design Collective

I made the unfortunate decision to hire LIV Design for a complete remodel in 2021. Hiring LIV was undoubtedly one of the most regrettable business decisions I have ever made. I hired LIV based on their online marketing, together with a sales pitch, where LIV unequivocally committed to being able to meet a strict 6-month renovation deadline imposed by a 1031-exchange. After LIV received their initial deposit, they sat on the project giving it the bare minimum attention until finally being demanded to produce some semblance of deliverables at a meeting months later. After this meeting, it was communicated that all materials and supplies selected were to be ordered due to the time constraints on the project and supply chain issues. This turned out to be the first of many, many oversights and mistakes made by LIV during this project. Referrals for contractors made by LIV were no better – unprofessional, had delinquent business licenses, were unable to show proof of insurance or GC licenses (while purporting to have both), unable to produce a correct bid, and ultimately demonstrated that they were unskilled for the project. Then, a LIV designer's lack of professionalism nearly ended in my own general contractor walking off the job site mid-job. By midsummer, LIV had failed measurement-101 on a fireplace, and selected and ordered a fireplace that physically would not fit in the space required. Instead of being forthright about the mistake, LIV designers attempted to hide the mistake, and ordered an entirely different brand, model, and style (from linear to rectangular) without approval, and blatantly lied to the supplier about receiving owner-authorization to try to cover it up. This news came to light after the framing and a day before install. At this point, it was agreed upon between Deboni (LIV owner and principal) and myself, that LIV would be responsible for the non-returnable fireplace and any change orders caused by the mistake. To date, Deboni has failed to reimburse me for the change-order incurred by her company’s mistakes, even after numerous requests. All in all, LIV’s mistakes, oversights, and squandering of time cost us substantial time and money in a time-critical project (where in many cases supplies like hardwood and cabinets, we believed were ordered, but were overlooked, experienced price increases of 110% within a matter of days or weeks). Unbashful, LIV also then billed (and got paid) for their redundancies and mistakes. Nearly all of my time last year (and beginning of this year) has been spent extensively cleaning up after them. It is my opinion that LIV will oversell and underdeliver beyond their capabilities and will take no responsibility for their mistakes. I would not recommend them for anyone looking for serious design work or product management on any construction project or remodel.

Tonya has been extremely helpful in our efforts to design and decorate the house we are currently building in the Park City Utah area. Her input has made our process much quicker and leaves us feeling that we have made solid, well designed choices. I would definitely recommend her.

My experience with Tonya and Liv Showroom has been wonderful. We are working on projects with Tonya and I can't speak highly enough of her. She is an incredibly talented and dedicated designer who inspires with great ideas and is very in tune with her clients. She is not at all pushy and is mindful of budgets and most importantly, she listens. I've worked with many designers and Tonya is one who I would recommend as the top of the list.

I needed help with a kitchen remodel. I turned to Tonya Olsen, from Liv Showroom. She came to my home, and with confidence took over the project and that is what I needed. The end result is awesome. My husband and I were thrilled when it was all done. From the paint color she chose to the wall decor. She knows how to make a house a home. We will definitely use her again!

The representative was very kind and helpful in explaining the details to finishing our basement. We were looking more of interior design for bathroom and kitchen with wet bar.

I loved working with Pam. She worked with my existing furniture to pull together a fabulous look. I will hire her again before I make any new purchases. Best money I ever spent.

Asked a question regarding some of their furnishings and they responded immediately. Very kind and courteous. I felt like they are understanding of individual circumstances. I will be contacting them again.

Pam at LIV Showroom is fabulous to work with. She is professional and has an excellent working knowledge of all aspects of design. She helped me coordinate all the furniture and furnishings for our Model Home, met deadlines, worked within our budget and coordinated deliveries. She is a delight to work with and comes with the highest recommendation.

I hired LIV Showroom to help me with some remodeling in my home. At the time, I just wanted to get some ideas for the future. Three of the designers came to my home and looked around. While they were at my home they shared lots of ideas that I hadn't thought about. I was so excited about the ideas and decided to purchase a design package for three rooms. This became the roadmap for me to follow which was very helpful for me to visualize the changes. When I was ready to start, LIV designers gave me pictures of options that would like great in my home and I chose the ones that I liked the best. The process was easy and very fun. I have finished two rooms so far and have one more to go. Over the years, I have tried to purchase furniture and accessories to go in my home but since I am not a designer I ended up wasting a lot of money. I love my new rooms and have loved working with LIV. This has been a great experience for me.

I love stopping by LIV Showroom for inspiration! It is always so gorgeous and I get great on-trend ideas and fun items for my home. Owner, Tonya Olson, knows her stuff! It's been exciting to personally watch her transform an older home in my area to a completely chic and luxurious reinvention. She is amazing!

Our company hired Deboni Sacre from LIV to decorate our group home. I'm amazed at what they did with our little budget. They knew the key places to spend our money and they understood our needs and most specifically our client's needs. Other designers seemed so intimidating and I loved how down-to-earth and approachable the LIV team was. I'm so thrilled with their work and would hire them again for any commercial or residential client.

I have been working with Pam J. on our new home construction and she has been invaluable. I shared my favorite houzz photos and general idea concepts with her and have loved everything she has come up with. She is very competent and knowledgeable about new home construction and design, providing details and cost saving strategies from a design and implementation standpoint. She is great to work with and offers great solutions. I have loved working with her and will continue to use LIV Showroom in the future. It's honestly the best money I've spent in the building process, LIV Showroom is both reasonably priced and all the designers are fantastic!!!!
