I discovered Colleen here on houzz and emailed for a consultation. She responded quickly and upon meeting her, I immediately was impressed with her passion and knowledge plus she's a lovely human! It was a pleasure and delight to work with Colleen throughout my project. I had a rather boring front and back yard with several overgrown plants, so I asked Colleen to create a garden that would be more interesting all year round and would reflect my love of roses and plants in general. She always listened to my preferences and seamlessly incorporated some of the existing flowers and plants in my garden into her design. She was very hands on during the planting, making sure everything was done correctly and beautifully. I love the beautiful garden she created for me, and she's still checking up on it!

Such careful review of my needs both current and future and my personal style provided me a beautiful backyard design that will enable me to age in place and enjoy my garden for years to come even if I need a wheelchair to get around. Colleen gave me drawings, vendor information, reference material for me to explore. So many ideas I never thought of while addressing my interest in preserving habitat for birds and insects (yes, even information on creating an insect hotel). My wife and I engaged Colleen at Regenerate Garden Design to help us complete a design for our backyard that we started re-landscaping in early 2020. While my wife and I had done a lot of work building out a patio and vegetable garden, the space lacked a sense of cohesiveness as we struggled with plant selection and where to place them within the yard. From the start, Colleen was very enthusiastic and highly responsive to all of our inquiries. We were able to promptly schedule a design consultation where she visited our property, took measurements, and discussed our preferences. Colleen was thoughtful in her questions, which provided us with the sense that she really wanted to understand our vision for the space. From there, she quickly turned around an initial design and 3-D rendering of our yard. Colleen did a fantastic job capturing our vision and even provided us with ideas for the space we had not even considered. Following the initial rendering, my wife and I met with her a final time to walk through the details of the design, which gave us an opportunity to ask specific questions about what she had prepared. Colleen has been so great in helping us envision our dream yards and creating a plan based on that. We had actually spent a design fee with another company.
