June/July 2017: Our dilemma. Find an interior designer who can make affordable [replacement] slipcovers for two of our cottage living room built-in sofas (6 cushions and 2 pillows). Oh, and get them reupholstered within a specified time-frame before our guests arrive. We needed the covers to be durable enough to withstand young grandchildren but also attractive enough for our adult guests and family members to be comfortable for hours while visiting, reading and resting on them. Lori provided us with friendly, professional assistance and service. She helped to guide our ordering decisions regarding fabric (within our budget) and additionally suggested some ways to assure the cushions could look and feel better. She said by adding finished corded edges and a dacron wrap around the [foam] cushions, the firmness (aka, comfort) would be improved. She was absolutely right. We agreed with her suggestions. The order went in and was delivered on time. The finished results are even nicer than expected! Our sofas now have a crisp “finished" appearance. They look and feel brand new! We would highly recommend Lori for any interior design and upholstery needs.

I hired Lori to help with various renovations in our second home. She helped with a half bath, hallway and kitchen renovation. She had great ideas, handled all the purchases and managed many contractors (plumber, painter, woodworker, cabinet refinishers, tillers). She helped pick out tile for hall, bath and kitchen, bathroom vanity and handmade sink (beautiful!), built in cabinets and solar blinds for family room, and colors for kitchen cabinets. She is currently helping me pick out hardware for cabinets and I'm sure will continue to provide decorating assistance going forward. I highly recommend Lori.

Lori was very professional. She listened to our likes and dislikes and made suggestions to suit our style. She met deadlines and didn't always push the most expensive items. Lori was always thinking of our budget number and making suggestions to keep us on budget

We have worked with Lori on two projects, one at our main home and one at a vacation home. The first project was several years ago and involved redecorating our living room, including furnishing, curtains and finishes. Lori was great to work with and the project was completed on time and within budget. There were minor problems with materials used to recover a sofa and love seat but Lori immediately stepped in to work with the subcontractor to correct the problem. We were extremely happy with all aspects of that project. Our second project was the complete tear down and rebuild of a vacation cottage of approximately 1600 square feet. Lori assisted us with many design decisions, the selection of materials and finishes, (ceiling, wall and flooring materials and finishes, kitchen and bath design choices, window and door selections), as well as the direct purchase of granite countertops, lighting fixtures and window coverings. She was proactive, rapidly answered any questions we had, was quick to offer advice when asked but did not push us in a direction we did not want to go. Her design recommendations were excellent, alway mindful of the look we were trying to achieve, our budget and our timeframe. Lori worked with our builder whenever necessary. She was always professional, responsive, patient and outstanding to deal with in every aspect of this project and we would highly recommend her.

I use Lore Currier exclusively for decorating large and small homes. She has honesty, integrity and creates a superb finish with great attention to detail. She receives my first and only consideration when a decorator's services are needed. Violet Frizzell

We had a really nice experience working with Lori. Our house remodel turned out lovely and we even had to do all of our decision making long distance, as we were out of the country for most of the remodel.

Lori was very helpful in helping me find window treatment styles and fabrics I liked. She was quickly in tune with my tastes and took the time to help me design window treatments I love. Everything came out beautifully. She definitely gave me the white glove treatment!

Lori came to my house with a difficult job lots of corners open space very hard to figure where to put furniture, she knew very well how to put it together recovered sofa, chairs,added new rugs , moved wall hangings gave me new colors to paint, have more for her to do as the budget allows.
