We are so happy with the results of Laura's expertise and advice. She listened to our ideas and then offered suggestions for the ways to best accomplish what we wanted. She has a wonderful eye for color and was able to guide us to choices that followed our broad color scheme while improving the total look and feel of the color palette. We love the paint colors she chose. She did everything to make our wishes a reality. This made the project feel like we were in a partnership with her as she made each step easy. We are 79 years old, and it was important for the kitchen area to be easy to clean and maintain. Laura was very helpful in suggesting countertops, backsplash, fixtures and types of finishes to make this possible. She was very accessible, answering questions and addressing concerns quickly and completely. We live in a rural area and the room addition gives us a beautiful view of the countryside. She picked up on this "organic" theme with beautiful quartzite stone countertops and backsplash. Laura was very creative, warm and friendly. We felt blessed to have her as our designer.

My husband and I were thrilled with the remodel that Laura helped us with in 2023, and when we decided to remodel the remainder of the house (three upstairs bedrooms and two bathrooms) in 2025, we returned to her without hesitation! Laura worked closely with us to tailor all the finishes to our tastes, including floor / wall tiles, paint colors, bathroom fixtures (unique to each bathroom), carpet, cabinetry / built-in shelving, and even updated furniture. She blended everything seamlessly with our previous remodel. Although we worked with a largely neutral palette, she infused warming color strategically to make our spaces unique, inviting, sometimes surprising, and very homey. She was at our house a lot, showing samples, talking through options, and creating a vision. She is very collaborative, welcoming to suggestions or pivots, and sweet-spirited. I enjoyed getting to know her better as a designer and deepening our friendship. I highly recommend Laura as a designer!

Working with Laura Suhr was one of the best decisions we made during our main floor remodel. From our very first meeting, Laura was attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to work with. We were delighted with our collaboration with Laura -- both the process and the results. She was our designer for a major renovation of our entire first floor and our master suite -- simultaneously. If none of those choices achieved consensus, she would listen carefully to what we liked and disliked about them, and would soon be back with a new batch that almost always contained the solution we fell in love with. In addition to her creative guidance, she partnered with our contractor and helped us navigate all the moving parts of such a large renovation. She is very detail-oriented, down to the smallest facets, wanting to make the project successful and beautiful for us. Laura worked with us to plan and carry out a major kitchen renovation, and she was absolutely the best! My husband and I are working with Laura on a complete remodel of our first floor, not an easy task given that he and I have somewhat different sensibilities in what we value in design. She is a great listener and has been unfailingly insightful in leading us through the design process. We are transforming our décor from traditional, late 80's design to a modern, glam style. We’ve used Laura multiple times, and she never disappoints. She is diligent, has a keen sense of what we wanted in our major remodel, but also thinks outside the box. Her selections were perfect for our style during our complete basement remodel, plus our master bedroom and bath remodel. We look forward to working with her again on future projects.

Laura redesigned our complete main floor and master bath to meet our changing lifestyle from having raised 3 kids in our house to being an empty nest so we can retire in place. She listened to our needs, was open to brainstorming about the design, and found materials/colors/finishes which reflected our personal style. She also recommended and introduced us to two contractors to estimate the work; which has now been awarded to one of them and is scheduled to start around April 2021. She will continue to follow through the construction phase making sure the design is executed accordingly. In other words, she has provided exactly what we needed from an interior designer and I would recommend working with her on any home improvement project.

We are working with Laura on a complete first floor remodel of our home. I hired Laura for design services for a major home renovation. She was very kind and patient while walking me through the steps needed to redesign a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a laundry room.
