I really appreciate working with Mahlah; she is thoughtful about her approach to each project, always has her clients' best interest at heart, dedicates 110% of her attention to every project at hand, and clearly communicates not only her design ideas and aesthetic, but also clearly establishes her communication and project timeline - she's honest, transparent, friendly, and has an ability to infuse her personal style into the needs and desires of her clients in a unique way. I can't say enough great things about working along side her with clients and I enjoy her creative ideas on every project.

We loved working with Mahlah! She helped us with the entire process of designing and choosing furniture and pieces for our new house. She walked us through the steps and chose items that fit our budget and style. She is professional, prompt, and patient through the whole experience. We hope to work with her again! Mahlah was professional and easy to work with. We did most of our work remotely during Covid lockdown as she oversaw the design and construction ( along with our contractor) of four full bathrooms. It was a monumental job and her vision was great. She listened and advised and we worked together easily. Highly recommend her to any and all that are looking for a little or a lot of help whether the job big or small.

Mahlah has done wonders for our church, New Hope Community in Santa Cruz. We had to remodel our Fellowship Hall due to some flooding and Mahlah helped design the space. It was an incredible improvement. She also redesigned our nursery, our family room and lobby. We frequently get comments about how beautiful, warm, open and inviting everything is. We are grateful for Mahlah and her talent. We will continue to enlist her services whenever we have spaces that need a design update!

Mahlah is a wonderful designer and easy to work with! I hired her two weeks into the pandemic when everything was shut down. I assumed we would just start the project that way, and be meeting in person soon. We talked on the phone and emailed. I sent her pictures and measurements and a basic concept of what I was looking for my daughter's room. She was able to keep some of the old furniture, add in new pieces, wallpaper, accessories and transform it into a completely different space! Her room is so calming, fun, and beautiful. During a time where we are home more than usual it has given my daughter a wonderful space to enjoy. I highly recommend Mahlah! You will not be dissapointed!

Mahlah does great work! She competently dealt with our changing and sometimes conflicting requirements and we love the result. Our home is serene and delightful to live in.

Stop looking, do yourself a favor and hire Mahlah! We hired her to help us furnish a small condo in Aptos with a view of the ocean. Working with her was fun, effortless and we love the result. She listened to what we wanted. Then she sent photos and a list of items that reflected exactly the summery, comfortable feel we were looking for, and that all worked together and met our budget. She helped us with furniture, accessories, kitchen hardware, drapes and custom cabinets. She took care of ordering and accepting delivery. (She even washed and set up our comfy bedding!). She has a fantastic eye for color and interesting textures and fabrics, and did a wonderful job coordinating with the few pieces we already had. She gently steered me away from mistakes. We are enjoying our place tremendously because of Mahlah's work and highly recommend working with her.

Mahlah is fantastic. Her sense for color and creating the atmosphere you desire is truly impressive. She gently steered us away from the initial ideas we had and guided us toward choices that did a much better job of creating the vibe we wanted. She taught us a lot along the way and we are so happy that we made the choice to hire her! She was also very patient with our very, very picky tendencies, our difficulty making decisions and our propensity for changing our minds! She is a fun person to work with and be around and we love her!

Mahlah helped remodel my family room, and I love how it turned out! She has an eye for style and detail and was wonderful to work with. When I have another project..big or small..I will call Mahlah.

Mahlah designed two bathrooms and a master bedroom for us and we are very happy with our renovation. She was very easy to work with and made an overwhelming process of working with my contractor so much easier. She has a wonderful design sense and we would recommend her!

I have worked with Mahlah on two different projects with two different goals and challenges. On both occasions I found her to be a joy to work with. She has a great eye for color, works efficiently to keep costs down, is flexible in how deeply she is involved, recognizes and corrects when something doesn't work and shares in the wonderful sense of accomplishment when long pictured details come together.
