MainStreet Design Build did a beautiful job giving my tired kitchen a glamorous refresh. Everyone on the team provided excellent communication and craftsmanship. From Christopher’s vision, selection of goods, installation, and finish work; the team produced a polished, finished and complete look. Rick and Marq were awesome project managers, keeping me updated daily. Jerrod and Andrew provided demolition making sure to limit debris and cleaning up daily. Tile installers and quartz installers were timely, friendly, professional and extremely detailed. I would not hesitate hiring MainStreet Design Build; thrilled I did!

We hired Main Street Design Build inin 2019 and all the had a full home completion in early 2021 (thanks, pandemic)! Main Street planned our remodel (kitchen, basement, mudroom, bedrooms, and more) into 3 phases in order to allow our family to live in the home through construction! MSDB took a whole day for each phase where they “prepped” the home with plastic protectors to ensure our living space was clean and safe from debris for our 4 kids and dogs. Not once in a year was a nail left out for my barefoot family. Truly, the attention to detail was top-notch. What could have easily been a horrible year was still an enjoyable process. MSDB communicated with us EVERY DAY so we knew who would be in our home and when. For a larger project, we were assigned project manager Dwain, and we saw him at our home every day to ensure everything was going as planned. We even had daily task notifications along with pictures daily via their communication software. This communication software was one of their selling points for us. Steve, Christine, and their team’s combined experience has lead them to be so knowledgable and have a great network of other expert professionals in the area. Lastly and importantly, MSDB was concsious of our budget throughout and providing the right rom the beginning of the project all the way to picking out finishing touches. If you are looking for a one-stop company to help oversee any size project (our home is nearly 8000 square feet with basement) look no further. The combination of professionalism, experience, creativity, and trustworthiness is unmatched. If we ever have any future work needed to be done, we plan to continue working with our new Main Street family!

Main Street did a fantastic job on our addition and all of the finishes on the exterior of our home. Their team is very professional, responsive and easy to work with. This was our third project with Mainstreet Builders and the biggest one of the three, a complete remodel of our master bathroom! We are thrilled with the final results!!

This review is a couple years delayed, but I suppose better late than never. Our basement renovation was an incredible experience start to finish. To this day, anyone that visits the basement bar is in awe of the uniqueness and one-of-a-kind feel. We hired Main Street Design Build for our laundry room and kitchen remodel. Like most people, we were nervous to take on such a large project, but after our first meeting with Steve, our nerves were put to rest. The entire staff exceeded our expectations at every stage of our project. The attention to detail, beautiful design options and finishes and level of communication that they offer is unique. It was an A+ experience from the office staff/designers/skilled trades and of course our amazing project manager who made everything run smooth, on schedule, and on budget. We now have a beautiful kitchen and laundry room that we love to show off - and everyone who has seen it is equally impressed (and a little jealous) . We can't wait for our next project.

The MainStreet Design Build had provided excellent customer experience for our extensive first floor remodeling project. To summarize our experience: - Planning phase was well organized, led by the owner Steve (architectural part) and Christine (for designing & selection part). They listened to the customer's design aspiration and pain points and addressed them effectively - They were very customer-focus- the entire team strives to minimize the customer's hassle. Generally, you have better experience with Design & Build company because both are under one roof. MainStreet exceeded my expectation in terms of level of coordination and how they focused on accommodating our needs and schedules. - People - both design team and build team has excellent group of professionals. Attentive, thoughtful and personable. There were no single person we had difficulty to deal with or asked the owner consider sending different crew. Dwain, the project manager for the build phase, was super attentive, responsive, and we can tell he personally and professionally care about delivering great products to the customer. we have not seen any lazy jobs or cutting corners with their works. - Timeliness. This was perhaps most surprising part with the project. the project finished pretty much on time!!! We have heard so many horror stories about home remodeling in terms of timely completion from friends and co-workers who have been through remodeling projects. MainStreet completed 3-month build phase pretty much on-time (a few days late but it was not stressful). As we needed to live in basement during remodeling, we were extremely happy that the project finished on time. Using the design & build company is not the most economical option, and hiring highly qualified firm like MainStreet Design, you would definitely feel it. However, I felt it was the best option and we were so fortunate that we chose to work with MainStreet Design, as I could not expect better experience than what they had delivered to us.

We hired Main Street Design Build at the recommendation from many reputable sources And friends. They didn’t disappoint! Everyone from the staff in the office to the very skilled trades treated us and our project like it was the only one they were focused on! We absolutely love the detail to attention and brilliant ideas they had to give us a place we love coming home to!

We've done two projects with MainStreet Design Build. The first was a kitchen remodel/renovation of our main floor. The second project was a bathroom remodel and transformation of our second floor. Both projects were designed perfectly, executed on-time, finished flawlessly and have received numerous compliments from friends and family. We hired the team at mainstreet to renovate our third floor and perform some major structural repairs at the same time. They exceeded our expectations at every turn. Steve worked with us through many iterations on the design and was patient as we figured out what our needs were. Chuck and his team were communicative throughout the build. This is the third kitchen remodel that we have done in our 52 years of marriage and this was by far our best experience. Main Street is a team of professionals, each with expertise in their field, who guided us along. Everyone was always organized and knowledgeable. The carpentry workmanship was exceptional and any issue was immediately addressed by the project manager and solved. They said they wanted to make us happy and they did!

Main Street Design/Build just completed a remodel for us and we can not say enough good things about their high quality workmanship, their attention to detail, and their flexibility to meet our needs. We had a remodel that involved the addition of a room, expanding and moving a kitchen and removing a fireplace. This involved all of the construction trades like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, roofing, siding and gutter installation, concrete and masonry work, excavating, paver installation, and landscaping to mention a few. All of the workmen on the job were detail oriented and extremely concerned about how the job looked from start to finish and showed great pride in their work. Not to mention lightly, you can imagine the planning, scheduling and coordinating involved in a project of this nature, and, that part went on quietly behind the scenes so the project would move along well toward a predetermined finish date. We were involved in all of the major decision making as things progressed, so we always felt in the loop and did not face any big surprises. We had our share of change orders during the remodel, but MainStreet took it in stride and did everything they could to accommodate our wishes and still remain on schedule. We are especially pleased with Steve's ideas for designs that we had not considered and we appreciated the daily photos of the work as it progressed. We ended up with a beautiful remodel that gives us much pride to "show off" and it functions as we had imagined, thanks to the design work of MainStreet. We would highly recommend MainStreet Design/Build to anyone and everyone interested in remodeling their home.

We hired MainStreet for a design and build that involved a significant garage addition, creation of a mud room and many other aesthetic improvements. All phases of the project were handled with exceptional professionalism. Steve and Christine took a loose vision of what we wanted and made it a reality. The construction itself was done with extreme care and consideration as we stayed in the house during the remodeling. Our project supervisor, Dwayne, was incredibly responsive. We were kept informed of progress throughout the project and the design and construction work was completed on time and on budget. I can't say enough about the great work the entire MainStreet team did for us.

We needed a new house built on a century old foundation. MainStreet did an amazing job from start to finish. Steve listened to everything I was looking for and worked with my vision to turn it into a reality. His attention to sight lines and details is excellent. Christine took me through all the work of choosing lights, cabinets, fixtures, etc. The two of them work so well together! Dwain was in charge of the construction, and he is a stickler! The philosophy of the company is one of excellence and honesty. I don’t know this because it’s on a website or brochure; I know it because I had the pleasure of being their client. If they choose a product, it is because they believe it is an excellent product. If they create anything, from a stair banister to a luxury bath or a whole house, it will be done to the highest standards. The job they did on the whole house renovation was so superb that when I finished the basement, I asked to be their client again without considering any other builders. I’m considering building a garage on the outlot of my property, and if I do, it will be built by MainStreet.

Main Street Design Build recently completed a kitchen remodel for us. We are delighted with every aspect of the process. Steve, Christine and the entire team were professional while being very approachable. They all displayed expertise in each area of the remodel from the initial design to the finish and were very organized along the way. They were extremely accommodating in consideration of some physical limitations I have - bringing samples to our house instead of having us meet at their offices. Our kitchen turned out just as we had dreamed. Our daughter, who also used them for a kitchen remodel, recommended Main Street to us. And, we will highly recommend them to our friends.

We couldn't be happier with our choice to work with Mainstreet for our exterior remodel. The design process leading up to the build was a refreshing experience. Steve and his team met with us on multiple occasions and honestly worked with us to design a house that made sense for our aesthetics and ultimately honored it's past. The actual remodeling consisted of re-siding our entire home, reconstructing the front porch including a new copper roof, IPE decking, a new central staircase, refacing the existing service staircase, changing a flat roof line to a gable and so much more. We became very close Dwain and his team who did all the construction work. I can wholeheartedly say that these guys are GOOD PEOPLE. They care, and they get things right. I'll be honest Mainstreet is more expensive than others, but you get you what you pay for. At least, in this case, we did. Our house is a significant piece of our lives, and I'm glad we were able to work with a company who took pride in the work they do. Hey, If you're reading this and considering Mainstreet, you should take the time to meet with them. They do a great job of explaining who they are and how things work in their initial meet and greet.

Mainstreet did a large project for us, adding a master suite with master bath and new closet on our second floor with out door living space beneath it. The picture of the company team on the Houzz page is on our covered patio that resulted from the project. They make a difficult process as user friendly and manageable as can be. We have worked with other residential builders, and we think Mainstreet's full service approach is fantastic. From working with Steve on the front end design, to working with Christine on so many details, to working with Dwain on perfect execution, they are really pros all the way through the process. Long after the job has been done, they stand behind theIr work without question, and they truly care about their clients and the homes they live in. I highly recommend them and would not look anywhere else. They are worth every penny!

We were extremely happy with MainStreet Design's work on our first floor remodel. The team evaluated our space and designed the area to meet our family's requirements, while completely reworking unusable spaces. We had an excellent experience with Mainstreet Design for our basement renovation. They are extremely professional, very courteous, super high tech, and just very good at what they do. Let me explain. Professional - the owner Steve came to our house for an initial consultation. Afterwards he brought us to his office to show a few hand drawn and computer generated ideas. This really helped us picture the space and make decisions. We then met with Christine, who helped us with selections and designs. She was very helpful with suggestions, which is what we really needed in this process. Then, once the construction began, they sent us an absolutely amazing lead carpenter, Kyle, who organized and conducted the majority of our build. Kyle was awesome. He texted us to tell us when he would be coming and what was going to happen on any particular day. It was very refreshing coming from a contractor. Courteous - they laid down material to keep our flooring and carpet clean prior to doing any work. Further, Kyle removed his shoes in the home whenever possible. We really appreciated this. High tech - Mainsteet uses a website and mobile app to keep ua updated with what is going on with our project. We were also able to make changes and raise issues through the app. The technology really helped us stay apprised at all times. Darn good - the basement looks amazing. Thanks Mainstreet. We hired MainStreet to remodel our first floor bathroom and master bedroom. They project included a complete remodel of both areas down to the studs. They reconfigured the plumbing and designed a custom vanity and closets. We had investigated several contractors but decided on MainStreet based on references from others as well as their personal interaction during our meetings. They took time to meet with us in both our home and in their offices to review various options so that we were comfortable with the expectations and costs. I really like their portal utility that easily allows me to track the project timeline, anticipate invoices and communicate with anyone in the office around my busy schedule. Their project manager and crew were polite and tried to be as conscientious as possible regarding cleaning up the work area each day.

Mainstreet Design did a wonderful job on my bathroom. Christine and Steve talked with us and looked at our idea book on Houzz. They quickly had a plan for us. Christine helped me make all my selections and kept within our budget. The finished bathroom is even nicer than what I had envisioned. We would definitely work with them again.

Main Street Design Build put an addition on the back of our home which included a kitchen, laundry room, mud room and third car garage, gutted our foyer/staircase, and added a full bath upstairs. It took approximately seven months, which neighbors couldn't believe went so quickly. The quality of work was fabulous. The owners and crews are perfectionists which worked out great because so am I. They showed up every morning and worked all day, not like other contractors that do a little every day at different jobs. The final outcome is beautiful, we are more than pleased.

Main Street is AWESOME! In my experience, contractors are notoriously unresponsive and unpredictable. That is NOT the case with Main Street. They were in communication with us constantly, had someone at the job every day, and did a beautiful job. I didn't need an interior designer to help me either. Christine helped me choose everything, and I LOVE it.

We chose MainStreet Design Build to remodel our kitchen and add a mudroom. The design process was a two step process bringing in our wishes and building out plans in a few stages with our budget in mind. Over the summer construction began. The MainStreet Team conducted themselves with the highest level of professionalism onsite. The various trades were equally hospitable. The tasks and timeline were met according to plan. The jobsite was kept clean. Changes, updates, and regular communication was conducted via an online portal and these events were timely. MainStreet renovated a string of three rooms on our first floor (family room, kitchen & mud room). Overall, our experience with them was excellent. Steve and Christine's staff was extremely professional and patient with us throughout the process, even when we needed to pause during the planning process. They worked with us to ensure that we could get as much of our vision into the space and budget we had to work with. We may not have been the biggest project on their schedule, but they never made us feel small. Their use of technology really helped keep us connected with the project. From design, to materials selection and approvals, scheduling, budgets and any changes we needed to make, there was a high sense of transparency. It's what helped keep us on-time and on-budget. Beyond the technology -- and more importantly -- the whole MainStreet team made themselves available to us. I have used Mainstreet many times over the last 15 years to do both major and minor remodeling work on my house. Christine Ramaekers did an excellent job with the kitchen remodel. She stayed within my budget and helped find granite countertops at a lower than expected cost. This was our first time using a contractor for a major renovation - Kitchen, Family Room and Bathrooms. The MainStreet DesignBuild staff, led by Steve and Christine were extremely professional throughout the project. I have engaged in two large projects with MainStreet Design Build and both were completed within our budget and on-time. The quality of the design is outstanding. Over the years I have used Mainstreet's design, build, and handyman services and the team at Mainstreet have always delivered. Most recently I used the Handyman services to replace a skylight, mount a flatscreen television on a wall, and replace some siding. The workmanship is top-notch and the staff is professional.

At several different times, my husband and I have had MainStreet Design Build remodel three bathrooms, install a hardwood kitchen floor, replace three kitchen applicances, update a garage and redesign a full basement complete with a new bath. I had the opportunity to tour MainStreet Design Build a few weeks ago. The studio is amazing and the staff is very welcoming and creative!

We used Main Street to plan and construct a complicated bathroom remodeling effort that involved modifying about 1/3 of the exterior portion of the back of our house. The attention to detail, the advance planning, the efforts to meet all of my wish list items were incredible. We wanted the new bathroom to meld easily with the key design elements of our 1940's home and they did just that. Because the remodeling did involve the exterior of our home, they worked to match the new construction to the existing design, and most people can't imagine that the home was not always this way. Each subcontractor showed up on schedule and delivered top quality results. We then used Main Street to do more exterior work for us, that involved replacing some existing exterior surfaces. They had good suggestions for places to save money in the project, identified some areas where spending more now would save money in the long run, and even identified certain parts of the project that just didn't make sense to do because there was no benefit to be gained. The team took a lot of pride in their work and had some ideas during construction that added design elements but not cost --- we really appreciated that personl commitment to a job well done. I can hardly wait to begin another project with the team at Main Street!

I highly recommend Main Street Design Build. I have a small 1950s bungalow and the only bath on the main floor was small and uninviting. They were very helpful with ideas on how to remodel to make it look and feel much larger and Christine was a wonderful help in selecting all of the right pieces. My husband and I give our absolute highest recommendation for MainStreet Design Build! They've worked on many projects big and small for us over the past few years -- from a total home office design/build to conquering a longstanding drainage issue outside the home. MainStreet Design Build helped us with a small kitchen update. The staff was just great. Time was taken to help us select tile and appliances. They were always available to answer any questions we had. The work was done in a timely manner by friendly and courteous professionals. We would definitely use them again.

MainStreet Design Build is an extremely talented and professional firm. That's our kitchen in the Baldwin picture. Our craftsman style house was built in 1922. We love it for all of the woodwork and charm inside. We therefore needed a company that would respect and complement the historic style of our home, but update the kitchen with more space and ammenities for the way we function as a family today (kitchens were very small back in 1922!). We got all of that and more. We have incredible cabinetry with custom wood work and we love our eat in area. The kitchen totally flows with the rest of our home, but really is our crown jewel. We still "WOW" friends when they walk into the kitchen - it is absolutely beautiful and timeless and I wouldn't change a thing. MainStreet's incredible vision and their attention to detail are their greatest assets. From the beginning of the project until the end, the MainStreet staff was engaged and focused on us as the customer. We highly recommend MainStreet and would hire them again in a second - they truly are experts at what they do!
