Mariah is absolutely fantastic! I have recommended her to over a dozen people, which speak volumes to her work. Mariah helped with my entire home renovation in 2021, and I still call on her today. She is reasonably priced, works quickly, adapts to your personal style, adjusts everything within your budget, and has a very good eye for design. She is an absolute pleasure to work with. We have loved all of the recommendations Mariah has made for our home - from the plumbing fixtures, the lighting, the rugs, the artwork, the furniture, the wallpaper...and more! We get so many compliments on our home, but I don't have an eye for design - it's all Mariah! I chose to work with Mariah because she charged based on her time and not based on my entire project. I met her at the tile store, the plumbing store, the furniture store, and at the house, we did a lot of online shopping. With her design discounts, she has more than "paid" for herself and saved us money with so many different purchases. I cannot express how grateful we are to have found her! I even called on her the other day because I couldn't find a piece of artwork over our fireplace for over a year - and within 15 minutes, we found something I think I will really love. If you've walked into a tile shop multiple times and can't pick what you want, or you want to change out a room and you're not exactly sure what new look you're going for, do not hesitate to reach out to Mariah! She will save you time and money, and you won't regret her suggestions!

Mariah spent two hours going through my house to help us prepare for an Open House. She told us room by room what we should get rid of (nicely, of course!) and other changes to make. A couple days later, after we cleared out all the stuff, Mariah and I went to Home Goods together where she grabbed two carts, and I followed her through the store as she pulled items off the shelves, with what looked liked to me to be No Rhyme or Reason!!! But Mariah is a visionary and when she got everything back to the house she went to work and created a little staged paradise!! Such small changes made such a huge difference! A total of four hours of her time, plus the cost of the items (less than $500), plus a few little “Honey do” projects and I’m not sure I even still want to sell my house!!!!! Call her. You will love her and it’s so worth it.

August 2022 my wife hired Mariah for an in home consultation to help with arranging our living room/dining room area. She gave us wonderful ideas and told us to order the sectional she recommended through her email account with Crate & Barrel for a nice discount. We ordered the sectional on September 2, 2022 with the knowledge that we wouldn't receive it until January 2023. During the months between September and January my wife contacted Mariah to hire her for an additional in home consultation. There were lots of voicemails left and unanswered texts. When my wife finally did get her on the phone they seemed unable to find a date that was satisfactory for both of them. After additional attempts at scheduling another consultation Mariah said she a family emergency and she would get in touch as soon as things got back to normal. She never got back to us. Finally in January 2023 my wife called Crate & Barrel and spoke to Louis or Lewis, and was told that there had been some sort of problem with the payment and when speaking with Mariah on the phone they had been disconnected. After no response from Mariah, Crate & Barrel cancelled the order for our sectional, IN SEPTEMBER OF 2022!!!!!! So obviously, do not hire this woman. Thank you.

Mariah is outstanding. She understands her client's taste and sets about to help implement it without substituting her own. She manages to apply her sense of style, design, color and placement to perfect her client's general ideas. She is a very smart shopper and knows what is available on the market place that is suitable to choose from. She is price sensitive and adjusts to budget parameters. She also is very pleasant to work with. At the same time she is firm and demanding with contractors and suppliers to get the job done correctly and on time. When she does make a mistake, and that is a rare event, she owns up to it and is fair with her clients.

I purchased a 3 bedroom home in Agoura after living in a 2 bedroom condo for over a decade. All the furniture I had was either borrowed, purchased by ex-girlfriends or left by an ex-fiance. It was an embarrassing hodgepodge of styles, fashions and decades. It was a running joke with friends. Thus I decided to look at designers. When Mariah first walked in she did a survey of the place, then excitedly pulled up pictures of bar-stools she wanted to order for my kitchen island. I said "ok" and then she pulled up a table she wanted to order for my breakfast nook. "Ok," I said again. We both understood this meant she was hired. Over the course of the next 2 months she decorated everything. I believe after week 2 or 3 she realized that asking my opinion was going no where and took initiative. She designed my entire place -- and not just the rugs, tables, couches and art. She purchased linens, silverware, toilet roll holders and towels. But it didn't stop there. She brought in electricians for recessed lighting, painters for some accented rooms, her own curtains woman -- who also made me a custom bed -- and everyone she brought in was good, affordable, on-time, polite and delivered beyond expectation. When you hire Mariah you don't just get her (which would be more than enough anyhow)... you get an team of professionals. Now when I have guests I get at least two wows per room and rave reviews. I get praised for my style, the quality of my furniture and the tasteful decor. And all I did was make a single call to Mariah sometime in January. She is easily the best hire I've made in my professional life.

Mariah is an amazing designer! She is so friendly and easy to work with and really has a great eye for design. She listens to your vision and helps you develop it and make it become a reality. She has helped me decorate my mid-century style house in almost every room and I couldn't be happier with how it looks.

Mariah is fantastic! She has a great eye, is easy to work with and most of all, gets things done! She came to our home and within 3 hours she not only had a plan for our living room and master bedroom, but had already helped us order furniture and rugs. She learned our taste and what we were looking for and went out and shopped for accessories that made our living room look beautiful. We are so happy with the end result and have Mariah to thank for it! Highly recommend.

What a blessing to have found Mariah Shaw ten years ago! At that time she helped me redo a condo where we used 6 wall colors and 5 wall papers for beautiful blend and contrast. Then she did a masterful job with finishing touches and furniture shopping and arranging for a new 4800 square foot hacienda which wowed every visitor. Currently she is helping me decorate a renovated 1950's ranch-style home. Mariah is a great listener, full of ideas, efficient, cost conscious, and exceptionally fun.
