Matt came onto a half-started project and was able to quickly draw up plans and shepherd our permit application through the process with the city. He offered insightful ideas and solutions to some of the problems we had related to renovating an old house. He also gave us some great design tips and resources and was always very responsive with answers. We highly recommend working with him!

Matthew designer and decorated a model home for us at our recent community, The Mill at Broadway in Sacramento. He was accommodating, easy to work with, and had great taste. Matthew has been a true partner in every sense. Nearly two years ago I hired Matthew to design my family's residence in Newcastle CA. For us, as it is for many, this was a very very personal and important project to my family. We had purchased the property 5 years prior and were waiting for the right time to begin the design and build process. I was hopeful, but speculative. At that point Matthew did not have a tremendous amount of residential design or build experience. Despite the greenness, his attention to detail, and to my project was simply unparalleled. It seemed, the whole time and even still today, that my home is as personal to him as it is to my wife, kids, and I. Since then I have hired him on several occasions for design work at my company. Matt has a creative design eye that blends modern ideas and colors. The project he designed turned a dated condo into a modern living space with clean lines in the kitchen and hotel inspired bathrooms. The project turned out better than expected. Little details such as the custom cabinet design make it hard to believe this was the same space as before.
