We have been so impressed with Mckay Vassaur Custom Builders. Jeff the builder came and did the initial walk thru of our brand new home and covered every little detail before our closing. They also gifted us an amazing gift basket with wonderful and useful items for the move in. What a lovely added touch! We love the customized cabinets and lighting. The friendliness and customer service is remarkable and we would highly recommend them!

My wife and I have been speaking with Jeff, the owner, for over a year and a half working through planning, ideas, and asking every question we could think of when building a home. Let me start by first saying that Jeff and his organization are world class! We spoke to and toured every home builder in the area, even speaking with builders from outside of the CTX area, and let me tell you that the quality of our home, the speed in Jeff's ability to answer questions, solve problems, and his knowledge have not only been amazing but truly a blessing to our family. From the get-go, we had a stellar experience with Jeff Vassaur. During our introductory meeting, he spent as much time as we needed talking with us about the house and answered all of our questions. Professional, trustworthy, communication is constant and the workmanship is great. You know that your builder is of excellent character when you reach out to him after you have closed on the home, and the level of service does not falter. I worked with McKay Vassaur Construction on a total renovation of my 1952 house in Austin, TX. I looked at other bids but selected McKay Vassuar due to the very thorough estimate that was provided. Jeff's professionalism eased my anxiousness about the renovation process. Jeff worked with me thru the whole design. permitting, and construction phase of my renovation. I was very pleased with the knowledge, dependability, and customer service that was provided by Jeff and his work crews. I really appreciated the time he took to meet with me with the various vendors to choose everything from faucets to kitchen cabinets. He kept me informed on the budget and schedule as construction progressed. When I am ready to add a guest room, I will be reaching out to McKay Vassaur.

McKay Vassar performed ab outstanding job in adding to our existing home. It was an additional of considerable space, and the personnel involved were knowledgeable and professional in all contacts. The subcontractors were all excellent, as well. This work was performed in 2015, and we are still happy with it. We were consulted every step of the way, so we were aware of all expenses as we went along. We could not have asked for better communication, service and construction.
