Megan is an amazing designer who just so happens to be an amazing person. She creates beautiful spaces with incredible artistic vision and helps bring any space alive. She is one of the best and the Quinte area is lucky to have her!

I have used Design Your Joy for consultation on five projects to date. Megan's skill brought incredible transformation and value to our commercial projects and she has proved to be an invaluable resource on three residential projects. Whether it was staging a home for sale, making an incredible interior and exterior transformation to a dilapidated century home or assisting with the myriad of choices for our new build, her design creativity shined. I recently moved into a new home and brought with me the furnishings I wanted to use in my new home. When Megan, Design Your Joy, met with me she assessed each room and provided suggestions for rearranging my existing pieces and where and how to hang existing pictures. She explained how each room should have 3 colours - a main colour and 2 accent colours and gave suggestions as to accent pieces like sofa pillows, fireplace mantel accessories, buffet lamps, bedroom linens and window dressings and future furniture purchases. I found her to be professional in her presentation and impressed with her knowledge of style and up-to-date trends at the same time being sensitive to my personal tastes. Megan is very approachable and I was able to text her with additional queries after our meeting. I take great pleasure in recommending Design Your Joy to handle your interior decorating project. .

When I downsized my home, Meg came over and helped with the layout,furniture placement,paint colours etc. It made the transition so easy and fun. I love the feel in my new home, and if I make any changes I will be calling Meg again for help.

I am speechless at how Design Your Joy has transformed my space. I moved into a large house earlier this year and it just felt so empty. We were so lucky to find the perfect interior designer. Megan is a joy to work with. She is friendly, competent, knowledgeable and has a keen ability to read people. From the start she understood our tastes and vision. Megan guided us through the major project of finishing our basement. It started off with us needing help choosing paint colour and flooring for the bedroom and bathroom. We were so pleased with her selections that when it came time to design the familyroom we left it in her capable hands. So thankful we had her input for the fireplace accent wall! Even though all the design elements have been covered Megan emails us every now and then to ask how the basement is coming along and to see if we have any questions. To me this is a sign of a true professional! It's truly been a pleasure working with Megan and we will seek out her services again should the need arise.

Megan from Design your Joy is an amazing designer, she really focuses on who you/your family are in intigrats that into the design scheme. She also allows you to step outside your comfort zone with ease. Her knowledge of colour is the best I've ever seen and her up to date with design, whichever it is (Modern, Contemporary, etc.), is always picture perfect. She makes your home or whatever space it is feel like it deserves a space in a design magazine. To top it off she is also an amazing person.
