Metric Design

We accessed Metric's support in designing and remodelling our condominium before moving to Saskatoon. We asked for some specific and challenging changes (greater light in our spaces, additional features like a fireplace and a soaker tub, an office remodel with built-ins, to name a few) and Metric delivered on each request. Even when unexpected challenges arose (like a faulty support beam), Metric responded with care and collaboration. We particularly recommend Metric to help clients reimagine spaces and then see the project through to completion. The designers offered elements that we would never have been aware of or considered. Metric offered choice in requested features, but also offered their experience and expertise in solving aesthetic and structural problems. We really liked both the design phases and the transition to project management because the team was able to advocate for the vision for the space better than if we had contracted these elements separately. It is clear that Metric takes pride in seeing a project through to completion and adhering to the original vision for the space while navigating unexpected aspects alongside the client. Their aesthetic aligned perfectly with ours and our new space is a joy to live in.

My husband and I hired Metric to help us through the planning stages of our the upcoming renovation on our property. We could not be more thrilled with the knowledge and expertise of this team. Their experience has proven invaluable to us over and over again these last couple of months. From the initial consultation through to their site visits and all the way to finalizing plans, we felt like the entire team had a strong understanding of what we wanted for our future home. When something didn't work, they never hesitated to share why and offer a more reasonable and sometimes cost effective solution. I am married to a VERY particular engineer and when we started this project, I expected he would drag out the planning stage with several rounds of revisions but he only had two. TWO. That alone is worth its weight in gold! We feel like our project has started on the right foot and it is all thanks to this team. My advice is not to skip out on the planning stage when taking on a major project house. It may feel like it is costing more at the onset but it will surely save you a boat load of money and stress down the road.

Metric has the most beautiful, modern designs for upscale, vibrant new builds and renovations. Their staff is quite knowledgable and progressional. The only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars is because their price range only fits higher paid clients.

I have referred clients, viewed there work and have shopped at Metric. The staff is very helpful and there show room is warm and inviting. There products are high end but the prices are comparable to other business in Saskatoon.
