Mevold Studio

We loved working with Mevold Studio to design our custom home. Jan was able to take our ideas and create a vision that our family loved. I was impressed with how he was able to take our lot and create the perfect house for that location. We live on a pond and he made sure we felt we were waking up with lake views thruout the house!

The value of hiring a skilled architect to assist in a building project is not always easy to determine. We have worked with architects in our business and private life's and Jan has proven to be " simply speaking" the best! Jan has a unique ability to listen to ideas and life style of the owners and come up with several proposals that achieve a new design. He is easy to work with and respectful, very careful with project cost control, and insures that the contractors work matches the design and quality expectation. The transformation that he guided with our home was amazing. The space utilization and functionality of the home has improved the total enjoyment of the remodel. Jan continued to assist in home decor with excellent recommendation about colors, wood types, furniture placement, unique lighting, wall textures and hanging art.....to name some.

Jan Mevold is beyond talented! His vision of our projects have been nothing less than the best. He has the newest technology to help your project come to life. We were able to give Jan a broad idea of our projects and he turned them into our dreams. We are so thankful for his knowledge and vision.

We had such an amazing experience working with Jan at Mevold Studio. He put so much time and pride into carefully designing our home exactly how envisioned. He was there every step of the way from walking through a model home we liked, creating our "Top Ten" list of things we wanted included in the design, and then designing and redesigning his plans to fit us perfectly.
