I picked Michelle Lord Interiors after reading her reviews on houzz.com. From our first meeting I liked her and I have no regrets going with her! She had what I was looking for – she was timely, flexible, and accommodating, which was great for my unpredictable schedule. She was professional but personable and immediately made me feel comfortable expressing my likes and dislikes. She knew all the places to shop within several different price ranges and how to navigate through everything, which again was perfect for me since I was new to the area. She had many unique ideas while still encouraging my own style to come through. She was kind and honest and was able to work within my budget while making my home exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Michelle Lord Interiors to anyone!

Michelle has more than just great design sense and artistry - she really gets my style and what will work for me. She is very adaptable and given the same project for someone else with a different style she would produce a very different result customized just for them. You really get a totally customized professional result and she gets it done efficiently. We just finished painting exterior and her vision for restoration of my midcentury home is so cool.

I have worked with Michelle on a number of projects in my house which included selecting all the furniture and accessories for my living room, completely remodeling a bathroom and accessorizing multiple areas of my home. I saw a remodel Michelle had done-was most impressed by it-so asked for her help with what I wanted to do in my home: kitchen, powder room and laundry room. Very aware of my needs, Michelle listened to my ideas and was able to incorporate most of what I wanted in her designs. She approaches her work with excitement, enthusiasm and confidence which translates into "calm in the midst of chaos" for the client. She is professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Very much hands on. If something goes wrong, she takes care of it. She deserves an A+ for meeting deadlines and scheduling/coordinating her subcontractors, who were all quality and responsible people themselves. My kitchen is beautiful but went somewhat over my intended budget so I opted to hold off on the other two rooms for now. But I will certainly get back to her when I am ready to go on. I would highly recommend Michelle for every step of the way for any home project.

I found Michelle online and asked if she would work on a smaller budget project to help me move from a larger apartment to a smaller guest house. She was willing to do so and came to my home to see what I liked. Then we drove over to the guest house and she measured everything and did up a space plan. She was professional; honest (which I wanted and needed) and helped me figure out what I needed to get moved in with a budget I could afford. Wish I had more money as I looked at her portfolio and could see that her work was incredible! You'll love working with her. Judy

Over the course of 10 years, Michelle has been a "go to" person for a broad range of remodeling and decorating projects from color schemes to kitchen dreams to bathroom supremes! After completing our first major remodel (kitchen, 3 bathrooms and entire exterior of our home) my husband and I agree that hiring Michelle was some of the best money we spent on the project. Michelle was able to make our visions come to life and with her expertise the design phase of the project was very enjoyable. With so many decisions to be made her experience and guidance was invaluable. Michelle was always professional and her hands on coordination of the project with our contractor and sub-contractors was extremely helpful.
