I hired Dan to replace my old ugly deck & he replaced it with a beautiful trex deck. His workers are the best they worked all four days when the temperature was over 100 degrees and they came from Pennsylvania! I will have no problem calling him again for another project if he wants to come to Toms River again!!!!!! Thanks Dan.....Ed

Dan Miles; honest and a true professional. He and his team did a “ fantastic” job on our deck. The team was meticulous, neat, thorough, not looking for any shortcuts. I would not hesitate if you are looking for a perfect deck, Miles Construction was insightful and assert for perfection and leave the site neat after a days work! Top notch!!!!

Dan’s team was highly professional. The quality of the work was excellent and they were here working on our deck in the worst weather during February and March. I can’t wait to entertain on our beautiful new deck. I highly recommend them for any project. We also asked them to fix some water issues in our basement, which they did in a very timely manner. We will definitely ask them back for projects in the future.

Dan Miles came highly recommended and we can see why. Our deck with grill and burner area turned out fantastic. He has a keen eye for detail and he will exceed your expectations. Dan is a great communicator also which helped in giving me no surprises along the way! The skirting underneath the deck has the same stone foundation as our house and so it all looks original to our custom built home. Check out the pics of our new deck.P.S. Anthony, Bob,and the stone mason did a fabulous job. They works for Miles Decks and should be commended also.

Our homeowner's association had specific guidelines for the replacement of our wooden deck. It had to be Trex, therefore we wanted a true Trex professional and got it with Dan at Miles Deck Construction. Project was completed in approved timeframe and looks wonderful. Recently (August 2015) had a very minor issue with one floorboard which was not at all due to Dan's workmanship. He helped us negotiate the Trex warranty which was actually quite simple, ordered the board and replaced damaged one before we even received our check from Trex. He is a pleasure to work with, returns phone calls in a timely manner and has tremendous follow through. Kim & Gary Jacob

I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Dan Miles on a few outdoor projects in the past. His professionalism, attention to detail and creativity are top-notch. Miles Construction, and in particular Dan Miles, came very highly recommended to us by another family member who had used their services, and not only did they not disappoint, but they far exceeded our expectations with a deck remodel we had completed last Fall. Dan and his crew went out of their way to be consummately professional, always courteous, and extremely helpful with suggestions. What impressed us the most was the degree to which they paid extra attention to detail and made sure that their work was precise in the most exacting way. No detail was spared. After completion of their work, I feel as if we have made friends for life, in addition to someone whose business we could give the highest recommendation to without hesitation.

Miles Deck Construction removed our old deck and built a new 18' x 24' trex deck with an A-frame roof. The posts, the railings, the stairs, the lighting and trim work all looks great. Our neighbors have already commented how nice the deck looks. Dan was very thorough on the punchlist and personally closed out the job making sure we were satisfied 100%. I would highly recommend Dan Miles for any deck work.

Dan Miles provided everything he promised and beyond. Work was done efficiently, workmen were always on time, they kept the house neat, the decking was appropriately stored, and tools were placed in garage when not in use. I was extremely pleased with the workmanship. Dan also completed the work in a timely fashion, even when weather made it difficult to do so. I would highly recommend Dan Miles.

Dan Miles did a fantastic job adding a Trex deck to our house. He came out to our house and we walked through a rough idea of what we were looking for. Within a week he sent us a few computer rendered sketches. We moved forward with one option but Dan was very patient with us as we made some custom adjustments as he was finishing up. He was very straightforward with the budget and invoicing the entire time and there were no surprises. I would definitely recommend him and expect that we will have additional projects for him in the future. He made sure the job was done right and didn't take any shortcuts. Lastly, we liked that he was on the job site every day and did most of the work himself.

Commented: Trex DeckingThis was a special application since it was a bench with a back. Typically wouldn’t see the unfinished sides of the material. Nothing was done to coat or seal the unfinished material on this project. ...
