As an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), with 18 years of experience in the industry, Michelle has worked in a variety of design specialties. That diversity of experience has allowed her to excel at what she truly loves—working with clients to build beautiful, comfortable homes that reflect their unique lifestyles and personalities. Having worked in a wide variety of commercial and residential design capacities and recently served as President of the Atlanta Designers’ Network, her experiences range from hotel and restaurant design and decorating model homes to assisting architects and working with home builders and buyers by walking them through the design process of color, material, and finish selection. Now working as owner of an independent design firm, MJN & Associates Interiors, she offer clients a full range of interior design services to fit any need and budget. Finish, lighting, and furniture selection; space planning; and project management for your new home or full remodel ensure you get the results you want right from the start. Color consultation, custom rug design, art selection, and custom window treatments can subtly pull a space together or give a room an entirely new look. In addition to traditional design services, MJN & Associates Interiors also offers digital design rendering created from actual photos of your home, allowing you to see what your space will look like with the proposed changes before remodeling even begins. We contracted with Michelle to design and make custom draperies for various rooms in our condo. Michelle was very helpful in offering suggestions in drapery fabric and design while being sensitive to our budget. Custom draperies are not inexpensive! I would gladly recommend her services. Ended up being a better decision than going with a box store.

Words can’t describe how amazing it was to work with Michelle. We recently bought the home we plan to raise the kids in and knew we wanted a fresh, clean slate with rooms and furniture that just flowed together. I am not a decorator and have no vision. I just knew what colors and patterns I liked. Michelle took that limited direction from me and created a masterpiece. The color scheme is perfect. The furniture is high quality and so comfortable. Every suggestion she made was spot on. We made classy updates to the kitchen and added seating. She helped turn limited master closet space into a more functional area. And my favorite space is our master bathroom that we completely gutted and remodeled. Michelle helped with the floor plan and design and it couldn’t be more perfect. I wish I had endless funds and endless space so I could keep doing projects with her. I’m already looking forward to our next one.

Michelle (MJN & Associates) was the BEST decision we made during our home remodel project. I was stressing over the many details and overwhelmed with the color selections and coordination of textures and flow from one room to the next. Michelle came in and simplified the entire process with ease. She was simply the quintessential professional who turned the stressful project into a fun adventure again. After meeting Michelle on a project for one of my clients, I hired her to help me update several rooms in my own home. Although I was unsure of where to begin and not knowing exactly what I wanted, Michelle was able to help me transform my living room, dining room and the kid's playroom. She came to every meeting with enthusiasm and an abundance of ideas and suggestions to help guide me to the end result. Throughout the entire process she was patient and incredibly helpful as we navigated everything from the wall colors to the furniture and window treatments. We moved into our new home in March 2022 and are gradually getting settled. This was our fist time working with Michelle but it will certainly not be the last. Her patience is beyond measurable! She was wonderful in offering her numerous resources to find us the best options for our needs and budget for our sunroom and family room. Our home got hit by lightning in August of 2020, and burned down. We were devastated. Once we recovered enough to have a vision, we contacted Michelle. She was so compassionate, and such a great listener. She has made us feel like we’re important through all the emotional ups and downs of a rebuild after a fire. My husband and I each had our own priorities, and she was amazing at dealing with both of us individually, as well as handling us as a couple. We are both so incredibly happy with what we have now. The vision was real, and Michelle made it come to fruition. Her guidance was invaluable, and I’m sure we will do more business as time goes on. Highly, highly recommend this wonderful lady and her team.
