I highly recommend Michele and MMI Designs! Michele designed our kitchen and did such a beautiful job. She really listened and took into consideration my Inspiration photos I had showed her for a new kitchen and then made it come to life helping guide me along the way with paint choices, light fixtures, and all the jewelry that goes with a new kitchen. Love how she added in all the great custom drawer dividers, pot drawer, and paper towel holder. She managed to hide everything in cabinets and keep counters clear which was my request. I loved being able to bounce ideas off of her and get her opinion because I can be so indecisive. Michele also helped me pick paint for the whole house, light fixtures throughout and hardware. She always had great tips on decor items and loved talking art. Another thing that is very important to me is working with someone who is timely and responsive to calls and emails and Michele is all that. Can’t wait to have her help when we get to remodeling the bathrooms. Thank you Michele!

Michele was an absolute joy to work with on the complete renovation of our home! She was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable and guided us through every phase of the project including the design, material selection and furnishings. She is a professional and very talented designer with a creative, yet practical, approach. She took the time to understand our tastes and functional needs for the space which were both equally important. Michele was an absolute pleasure to work with and very responsive. She made the detailed design selection process (e.g., lighting, tile, paint, hardware, plumbing, countertops, etc.) significantly less stressful. My husband and I purchased a 1961 home in Houston that needed a complete remodel of the kitchen and master bathroom. I contacted Michele and we met at the house & walked each room during the consultation & discussed what I would like to change & keep. Michele was so patient and so knowledgeable about not only kitchens, but everything else- flooring, tile, bath, paint, walls, windows and doors. I felt I was in great hands, and we started discussing elevating the ceiling, removing a wall, door, etc., to give me the floor plan of my dreams. Michele was practical and helped me save money and helped me decide where my purchasing power was better spent. I can't wait to post pictures of the finished product. I wanted an industrial kitchen with two-toned shelving (white uppers and black lowers) and some open shelving in the coffee bar with an added banquette in the breakfast room. I would send her pictures of what I wanted for lighting and Michele would always find me a great compliment and expertly measure each room so I knew what size I could purchase for any piece of furniture. Michele helped me pick out all of my new appliances, hardware, plumbing and flooring. Michele is smart and quick, and I always felt like everything was going to get done in the most specific and precise manner. She works great with contractors and always has photos to show if we are looking for a specific cut of countertop, so it mimics her renderings that she does herself. Great job! So happy!

I contacted MMI Design on this HOUZZ website and they responded immediately. I had my first meeting at my home with Michelle Merz explaining what I would like to do to renovate, she took notes measured and listened to my needs About a month later we went over computerized drawings that she created on the layout of kitchen and living area. Once all drawings were finalized, we worked with contractor on completion of the project. Once the project started, we would meet up to order appliances, colors of walls, backsplash tiling and drawer pulls, furnishings and window coverings. She would meet me at various store locations to pick out the various items. Michelle Merz was very attentive throughout the whole process; I could pick up the phone call her or text and she would respond immediately. She would meet with vendors for install of various items. I truly enjoyed working with Michelle and I am so grateful I found her!!! I AM TRULY ENJOYING MY NEW LIVING AREA AND KITCHEN!!!!!!

Michele at MMI Design was wonderful to work with! I reached out to her for help with a big project, involving a full-home renovation. After just a few conversations with her, she was able to pick up on my style and aesthetic and help me choose design aspects that fit my personality. Before I met Michele, I was overwhelmed by all of the choices out there, and I didn’t have the time to sort through all of the choices to make decisions. Michele made this process so much faster and easier because she narrowed down the choices for me while still offering options she knew I would love. Michele stayed on top of my project the entire time, making sure the work was done right. She also has great relationships with contractors and other vendors, which made the entire design process move smoothly. Michele has a very professional yet friendly and warm personality. I trust her wholeheartedly with all design aspects of my home, and I will definitely use her again with any future projects.

We just moved back from 8 years in various overseas locations and bought an early 90's house upon our return. Michele not only helped us update much of the house, she and her team also helped us furnish many of the rooms and incorporate the eclectic pieces we acquired overseas. I was definitely overwhelmed by all the work necessary to renovate and furnish our house, but Michele broke the renovations into manageable action items and choices. From the paint colors, kitchen countertops, backsplash, flooring, lighting, window coverings and last, but not least, furnishings, Michele and her team helped us make the perfect choices for our family (including young teenagers and a new puppy!) and budget. Every time I walk in the house, it makes me smile. Not only is is beautiful, but it feels like home!

Michelle is AMAZING! I love my house. I asked her to design my interior down to the color of the duvet. She was involved in choosing the flooring, paint colors, furniture, art, bedding, wallpaper, light fixtures, window treatments, etc. This was a big project. As much as I tried to delegate all the decisions to her, she didn t let me off so easily. She kept me involved and the outcome is that I have a beautifully designed house that reflects my personality. She also communicated very well with my contractor to keep the project moving. She’s just fabulous!!

We had considered making upgrades to our townhouse for several years. After seeing the photos of the work MIchele with MMI Design had done to other homes, we were inspired to start updating ours. We wanted to give our dark, dated kitchen a bright and fresh look with new countertops, backsplash, new cabinet and wall paint. We also wanted our pet stained carpeted stairs and a bedroom switched to hardwood flooring. We needed our entrance and backyard doors refinished and replaced. We also needed new carpet on our third floor bedrooms. After meeting with Michele and setting a budget, I had clear direction on the next steps. Michele got to know our style and was very knowledgeable of what would work best for our life style. She provided us with several options for the countertop, backsplash and paint colors for the cabinets and walls to redo our kitchen and the hardwood flooring, doors and new carpet. She lined up the contractors and oversaw the process to make sure we were pleased with the selections, the contractors work and the final outcome. I would strongly recommend Michele and MMI Design and will use their services for future home updates.

Michele was a lifesaver during our recent remodel. She was extremely organized and kept us on track. She always offered us several alternatives and really got to know our style.
