Beautiful! Easy installation and several flame options easily changed by remote. The unit also comes with two options included for the look of logs, or glass 'rocks'. We built a stone accent wall and left an opening for this fireplace. The unit arrived on time and well packaged. We would definitely recommend this product.

Worked wonderfully the first few times I used it and then I started having trouble closing it to turn off flame. The last time I used it, the levers wouldn't close and I had to smother the flame. Could be easier to fill, which requires a very careful pour to avoid getting fluid on the outside where it can catch fire when lighting devise.

On the fuel pour: it is recommended to use a funnel to safely pour ethanol fuel into the burner.

Our fireplace does not burn evenly..meaning, I fill each of the 4 slots with the bio fuel, but each slot burns differently...some burn out much quicker than others and I cannot control the amount of flame coming from each one by closing the covers...that doesn't work.

I'm sorry to hear that the fireplace is not functioning properly. I consulted with the manufacturer and here are their recommendations:

Closing the burners will not do anything except put the flame out. Make sure that you don't have any windows open causing the air to blow the flame out. There also may be a slight spill of fuel on some of the burners which is causing the uneven burn. It takes about 2 times for the burners to work fully. They need to get heated up and used a little.
